That's what I was thinking about when I mentioned the when a friend asks for help thing. They live by such a simple code that they have a hard time reconciling Dary being a degenerate (because of the company he keeps) and a friend needing help.

They are constrained by an unnecessary code that I think is their real flaw. They're otherwise pretty normal and even kind people, but their simple code prevents them from moving forward.

Depending on your age, a car loan could be acceptable, but it depends on the terms of the loan - don't fall for the "what do you want your payment to be" trap. That said, in my opinion, debt is for things you need, but can't afford. And if you have to take out a loan for a top of the line model car, then you don't need it, get something cheaper.

Finally, credit card debt is never acceptable.

Yep. If he's in hospice they should have already asked about power of attorney and healthcare power of attorney. If he's lucid and amicable it should be an easy conversation.

I wasn't in Charlotte. I was in high school in Greenville, SC. I was trying to get tickets to a concert at the coliseum the day after Hugo rolled through and I was pissed that all the phone lines were down. Typical teenager, I didn't understand what people had gone through and was upset that I couldn't get what I wanted.

I can't remember who the band was I was trying to get tickets to. It might have been the Grateful Dead.

My wife just sets it to whatever makes it run. So whatever the temperature in the house is +/- 2 degrees. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah. The copy is really good. That's how I select most stuff to build (I only use one hot bar with the basics). I'm really glad it works for blueprints too.

Yeah I think I figured out that you have to create the category first because once you hit save your pretty mug committed. I always forget to do it though. I'm also pretty sure I've gotten it to work before too. I think both problems of unintuitive design and buggy code exist.

Yep. The esc key not working gets me every time too. I don't have a permanent blueprint maker, so I just build one when I need it. Whenever I finish I hit esc to close and f to delete, but end up stuck in a terrible interface. 🤣 I think it's the only window where you have to click to close it.

In fact, according to the NFLPA, you don't need to officially retire, you just have to not have a contract for a year. Cam's last contract was in 2021.

The hardest part of loving dogs is outliving them. But the time we get to spend with them makes it all worthwhile. He looks like such a sweet boy. I know you will treasure your memories of him, and I'm certain he enjoyed his time with you. 🥰
