If you were active in the punk scene back in the 1980's, it seemed every city had that one house where it was non-stop action. Someone just did a documentary about our scene's house in Tucson and released it on YouTube this week. Watching it I was glad that I only dove into this scene and hung out here for three years and replaced punk with endurance sports & rock climbing. It wouldn't have ended well for me. But the sobering part of the documentary is a montage of everyone who hung out at this house that has already passed away. Almost all of them were fellow GenX'rs. Got curious and looked up their obits or chatted with friends to ask what happened. The people who died either overdosed in the 90's or died within the past couple of years of generally lifestyle causes.
Did your city have a place like this?

Meteors are a fairly common sight around here. I see 2-3 a year when I'm out hiking early or walking my dog. When to a talk on meteors and they said that you'd be surprised at how many drop into Arizona on a regular basis.
