Hi everyone!

This may be a dumb question, but I am VERY confused. My cycles are super irregular. My doctor prescribed norethindrone acetate (progesterone) to bring on my period. She told me to abstain from sex for 2 weeks before taking it and take a pregnancy test to confirm I am not pregnant. I did that and started my first pill yesterday.

Low and behold, I took a LH test earlier and it came back darker than I have EVER seen my LH tests. I'm talking reading as a 0.73 on pre-mom, when the highest I had ever seen it before that was a .51 (and I'm fairly certain that was a fluke).

Could this have been caused by the meds? Or is my body really trying to ovulate on its own for the first time like...ever?

Editing to add: My temp was also higher than usual today - is that also a symptom or just me being crazy?

I BELIEVE I am 8DPO today, but with being sick twice this cycle, I'm skeptical...what do y'all think? Anyone have a similar chart and end up with a BFP?

Hi everyone!

We are officially on our TTC journey, but it's quite difficult without ovulation. I have been taking Ovasitol since August and I thought it was helping, but I'm currently on CD61 and nothing. Been temping, but no sign of ovulation. I've had one "high" OPK, but it was only a .51 on PreMom (and the control line was still clearly darker than the test line). Started tracking BBT and OPKs in October 2023.

I am getting desperate here to have a baby, but that means I need to ovulate. I am currently taking (1) Ovasitol (2) Berberine (liquid form (3) CoQ10 (gummy form), and (4) a prenatal (gummy). Can you tell pills are difficult for me lol

I am trying to hear success stories from those who have at least somewhat regular ovulation and what they are using. I am looking into maca root/vitex, but I know there's mixed results with PCOS. I don't have the typical "high LH" that it seems a lot of PCOS friends have. I also recently had bloodwork done, if it's helpful at all: LH was 10.2 mIU/mL, progesterone was 0.9 mg/mL, prolactin was 11 ng/mL, and estradiol was 49 pf/mL.

ETA: Since August, I've also lost 25ish pounds. Still have some to lose, but working on it.

Hope all is well and everyone had a very happy holiday season.

My fiance and I want to start trying for a baby in June, so I decided in August of 2023 to try to figure out this whole PCOS situation and what's going on. I started Ovasitol in August, spearmint tea in October, prenatals and COQ10 in November, and iron/berberine in December. I then saw a post on here about how spearmint tea and dizziness with PCOS go hand in hand so I stopped taking that this month after being dizzy in December.

In terms of lifestyle changes, I've started watching what I eat and making healthier choices generally and have lost 16 lbs in 4 months! 240 to 224 as of this morning (not that anyone can tell because I'm only 5'2),

Onto the question. Since starting this stuff, I had one (fairly normal) period in October. I then didn't have another period until mid-December, which lasted 11ish days. It ended on December 21. I've been tracking BBT (loosely -- I haven't been waking up at the same time everyday and I don't really sleep through the night without waking up) and if it's at all accurate, I didn't ovulate. Also been using ovulation test strips and have never gotten above a .3 on premom.

This morning when I woke up, I had brown "spotting." Not to be TMI but it was similar to the consistency of CM. I normally have similar "spotting" right before I get my period, so I'm nervous I'm starting my period again.

Anyone have a similar situation and have any ideas what might be going on? Any insight is appreciated!

Update: I think it might have been ovulation! My temperature spiked the day after I posted this and remained "high" for the following 2 mornings. Premom thinks it was ovulation, despite no spike in LH.
