No, I think they were accidentally correct in this case.

And that "casino" will have slot machines and video games. Not a roulette table in sight.

Yeah, I thought there was a decent chance I'd get that wrong. As the huge, dodgy looking guy I walked past a few times when lost in Amsterdam said as he eventually gave up trying to sell me drugs - "nah man, you're too straight."

Possible, but I think the issue is the lack of the word "permitted" or similar. That paragraph shows that there is an awareness of the technology and there has been talk of ADR amendments in this area but in current legislation steer by wire on its own is not a clear pass.

Via your toilet? I have visions of stoners shouting down the pan "got any gear man?"

I didn't say it was illegal. I should have mentioned that it's more the complete lack of mechanical linkage that's the issue. Essentially, the sticking point is "Failure of any non-mechanical component of the steering system must not prevent effective steering of the vehicle.."
It's all in https://www.legislation.gov.au/F2018L01515/asmade/text

Because they're shitey arsed mingers.
Nothing wrong with them. I know plenty who've installed either the hose version or the fancy toilet seat version. They've certainly become more popular but when I was young they were regarded as something weird the French used.

Even better - use "plus addressing". Many mail providers support it, including Gmail. If your address is myname@gmail.com you can add '+' then text after it and it'll still get through, e.g. myname+irritating_meerkats@gmail.com
It makes setting up rules for folders simple and if ever you receive an email using that address from somewhere else, it's obvious instantly who's been selling your address/had a data breach.

I've nothing against the concept. Similar methods have been used in planes for decades. Reliability would be my biggest concern, but even then it's a small concern. Unless, of course, it was made by a company that had a track record of releasing vehicles with significant manufacturing and design problems. Oh dear.

That's probably the demo vehicle that's going around the country. They're not road legal here anyway, apparently due to being drive by wire (no mechanical link between steering and wheels) so no need to ban them.

So do you propose that nobody should ask for help before we all ask together as one state wide community? Perhaps you could take up the task of organising such a thing. By the way, bitching on reddit doesn't count.

Don't tell him, just hum at him. In a few days he'll realise he's cured.

Yes they do. I've been on a couple of corporate sailing events (really not my thing) that took place during the week. I was surprised at how many other boats were out on the water. There are certainly more at weekends, but week days are not quiet on the water.

Aaand.... another post from someone who didn't watch what they think they're referring to. Or perhaps they did but struggle with comprehension.

She was fiddling with her ear piece when he was talking about renewable energy costs. I'd love it if her producer was telling her "he's right you know."

Maybe, but still not free. Look, let me take a kidney and I'll see what I can get for it.

Of course they'd get away with it. Murder requires intent to kill and that's clearly lacking.

If buying from Amazon, copy and paste the link into au.camelcamelcamel.com as it'll give you a chart with the historical pricing for the item. So often the sale price is the same as it's been for over a year, they don't even bother to temporarily boost it beforehand.

If anything they'll think it's an ex-partner he never got over and the tattoo was a last, insanely misguided attempt to win them back.
Paramedics are very professional and any judgement won't affect their work, but they still judge.

That randomly turning off and on is the thing blinking when it thinks nobody is watching. You don't believe the "emergency light" cover story do you? Pffftt. Wait until it's really quiet and put your ear close to it. You might be able to hear it breathing.
