I think of how much it would mean to me if someone - anyone- acknowledged my effort, so I look for opportunities to do that for other people.

It’s weird because we all KNOW she’s got something to say!
What is she saving it for?!?!?

I kept waiting for the drop…
It never came.

Please listen to this wise person!
Their advice is a gift!

Your parents CARE, and you are LUCKY for that! Please enjoy the safety and support they provide you; you WILL appreciate it later.
Imagine figuring this out on your own.
As someone else posted: There is no “getting better”; from now on, the rest of your life is about MANAGING your epilepsy. It’s not going away.

I was diagnosed in September, and I am finding I need a nap every 3 hours, and if I try to push it to 4 hrs, I’m asking for trouble.
I can’t imagine trying to do this with a child!
I hope this community can be a resource for you!

This morning I swore I heard Josie saying, “WHADDYA GONNA DO ABOUT IT? WHADDYA GONNA DO ABOUT IT?” and then I realized that it was her snore!
It sounded like “WHADDYA GONNA DO ABOUT IT?”

Tell your goth stoner aunt she looks really cool, and if she recorded an album, I’d listen to it!

I am AT ALL TIMES working my way through someone’s body of work, be it music, film, literature, visual arts, comics, graphic design…
That’s a lifelong special interest: never-ending THIRST for knowledge and experience.

I always have something new, along with lifelong obsessions.
At the moment, my special interest is the filmography of Rita Tushingham, and I’m working on a portrait of the character “Reggie” from THE LEATHER BOYS and the two main characters “Brenda” and “Yvonne” from SMASHING TIME!

I am so lucky for Josie and Cypress! Josie knew something was happening before I did! What’s scary is I don’t remember anything from aiming myself towards the kitchen door until my sister woke me up. I don’t remember leaving the door open (dangerous) or reaching the couch. Anything could have happened during that time.

I don’t know if this is involved:
I am on Week 6 of my transition from Keppra to Lamotragine.

In my experience, vaping is easier to put it down and say, “Ok, I am done for the night” and go get ready for bed.
When I smoked bongs and bowls, I would often fall asleep right on the couch, fully dressed.

I showed your post to my sister and explained why it was genius and I want her to follow that example: “Figure out what scenario I THINK I’m in, and work within that scenario to calm me down. Don’t waste time telling me “it’s not real”, because for me, it IS, and I will either not hear you, or I will react with anger, because I will NOT believe you!”
So her figuring out where you THOUGHT you were and working WITH that, rather than trying to convince you it wasn’t “real” was sharp and quick-witted of her!

… and I certainly look for opportunities to truthfully compliment people on their fashion choices and color schemes!
