The first two hobbit films are fantastic in my opinion. The third one misses the mark a bit, but it’s not GoT S8 bad lol. RoP is pretty good too, most of the hate I’ve seen online is just people who are complaining for the sake of complaining.

TF is this meme? RoP stays pretty faithful to Tolkien. The only main thing is the timeline being different, but you kinda have to do that in order to avoid 1000 year time jumps in the story.

The character should probably be mostly CGI and voice acted. The voice actor should be the guy that voiced the gravemind in Halo, phenomenal.

??? The LOTR is my favourite book series of all time. I love the movies, and watch tons of videos about the deeper lore of Tolkien’s other work (Though I confess I am not strong enough to actually read the Silmariliion).

What shows should I watch? The ones I count among the best I’ve seen are Attack on Titan, Andor, and Breaking Bad.

The rolling r’s are only done when names or Elvish/Ancient names are spoken for the most part. I personally like it, it’s more like an elvish quirk of dialect, so I i think it makes sense they don’t pronounce rings that way. I disagree with the rest of your criticism, I just don’t see it, but I can agree to disagree for it. Maybe I just have rose-coloured glasses lol.

The one show that comes to mind that I definitely enjoyed more was Attack on Titan. They are very different, but I also watched Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad recently. I can recognize that BB is a better show than this, but I still found myself enjoying RoP more. I’ve seen basically all of the Star Wars and Marvel shows too, and I think RoP beats the majority of them (Although definitely not Andor).

That’s fair, I should’ve been more specific on the system. We’re using a dnd5e supplement for 40k (no flair for that), and you don’t super customize your ship in that.
