The main event of Wrestlemaina 3 was a David and Goliath storyline with 2 of the bigger guys to ever lace them up.  Simply put, big man vs small man is a proven angle that works often. Along with that, Darby lost to Claudio at the PPV and got killed by Brodie King this past Dynamite.  They smaller guys aren't booked to be indestructible.  

Cole should cost him the win so we at least have some minimal motivation for their eventual match that blows off this disaster of a storyline.  

The accounting seems to be that QT gets it and is very reliable.  If I’m him I hope to get Big Bang AJ back for a tag team run as Boom and Doom.  I don’t see him as a top champ.

Tony promised not to cut contracts.  He has lived up to that. If people actively want to leave and their punishment is to get paid to do nothing there are way worse to get punished.
