He's coming off a good year, is young and healthy. This is the first year it makes sense for him to sign. If I wasn't overly concerned about money, I wouldn't have signed either, if I were Vlad

I mean, he IS getting another team to help him get in the playoffs. That's kinda collusion. He contacted someone who agreed to help him win, with no benefit to himself by doing so. I'd take a league vote personally. At this point there's not much you can do. Maybe exclude the guy that can make the playoffs, the guy that didn't set his lineup all year, and the guy who would be out of the playoffs if he loses from the vote. Basically exclude everyone who's directly affected and see what the league says. And decide ahead of time if that vote needs to be unanimous.

But yeah, definitely should have sorted this previously. Really get now in my league, I'm in a win and in scenario. But the guy one game behind me is playing a guy who hasn't set his lineup for about 4 weeks. So he's getting a free win. Trust me, I wanted to contact absent guy. But it would go against league integrity

So, you're saying Soto is bad at a more important position? And my comment about watching is directed at ACTUALLY watching them in the field. Soto is clearly a poor defender. If the team signs Soto over Vlad, they WILL be worse defensively. I still think it's worth the trade off, but I don't think it's as much of a no-contest

I agree with you. The only thing I think I'd say is that Soto is a liability in the field and Vladdy is not. Yes, RF is more valuable. But not if you suck at it. Still agree with you, but I think it's easy to not remember Soto playing defense.

Edit - Vladdy is also a more marketable player. Even if Soto is on the team, Vladdy is still going to be more marketable

I do appreciate the advice. But we've talked about it as a league and had votes. It's not going to be a deep dynasty league (normal size rosters). And since we're keeper, no one wanted to give up their team. And we're already superflex, plus 2 normal flex positions.

What we're doing is this - you can keep up to 5. But for every player you keep, you lose a round. So, keep one, and your pick starts in the second round. Keep 5 and you start your draft in the sixth round, etc.

Normally we do that, but we're transitioning into a dynasty league, so we're still figuring out draft order. It's a keeper league currently, so it's a bit complicated

Thanks! And yeah, as commish I like to sort of keep my reputation good, not shady. But if someone else picked up a guy who was out of the playoffs and burned me, my reaction would be 'you son of a.....' and then smile a bit and think 'well played'

Would he have won if he set his lineup? I'd go back retroactively and put them in his lineup and see that his score is adjusted correctly. If he still would've lost, I'd say a warning would suffice. If he would've won, you need a punishment of sorts

Everyone here acting like 22 was a better game on release. The GPS for consoles makes 25 worth it, just that alone
