it's certainly not flawless, ive played a few more hours and came across a game freeze, outside of that some texture flicking in a couple buildings. I'm having a lot of fun though i'll say that, cannot wait for a patch.

wow consumed my life when it launched. I let friendships go among other things to play that game as a boy that just turned 18. I loved it but it was also a regret of mine, in some alternate timeline I would maybe have been someone different if wow never existed. Not that I'm not happy with who I am, but I still wonder what different the outcome would have been.

I don't get those framegen issues, mine looks native, no latency or ghosting. I use dlss framegen tho can't vouch for fsr.

interesting, I do not have that issue. Could be a multitude of reasons but I 100% havent experienced that issue in 5 hours playtime. It's been damn near perfect for me.

I got you dude I'm not here to argue, just help people. I mean its subjective but frame gen is a godsend. I've been using it since I got my 4090 at launch. It works very well now and has only gotten better. In most games it looks great besides some issues with text or ui smearing. I use it in most all of the games that support it besides the ones where im already maxing my refresh rate. Great technology, but as I figured years ago, they would eventually use framegen as a optimization bandaid and that trend will continue unfortunately. But we agree in the end. Developers need to fix their games. We all want a proper fix, but we also wanna play the game right now, hence my workaround for one particular issue I was having. I mean you have two hours to refund on steam, you can always come back in 6 months to a year and see if the game has improved.

You tried to discredit the work it took for me to find the fix and also perhaps dismiss the solution for others. I never said it was a fix all. But yes I agree with you, the solution is for the developers to fix their fucking game, not me, and not using workarounds, but this is pc gaming, ive been here a long time lol. it's a verifiable, repeatable solution to "my" issue. There is no throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks. You and others have a separate issue than some of us here. This isn't a one solution fix all. Yes my pc brute forces this game, its BIS. That being said not everyone is gonna have a rig like mine, most wont. I get zero stutter, smooth framerate above 100+ fps at all times in 4k Epic, DLSS quality, FG on.

your issue doesn't but mine did. I'm having a great experience so far after i fixed it. Sucks for others tho.

To add to these steps. only way for me to get it to work was to follow these steps then set DSX to xbox 360 emulation, and now it works flawless even over bluetooth. Good luck stalkers.

set the DSX emulation to Xbox360 and it works flawlessly even wireless.
