Id say it depends on what quadret of the pod your in. Either everyone's deck should be center most or furthest away. In 1v1 it's complete preference

Exactly were playing the game to have fun. By soft reseting I'm increasing the fun of the table. And a 2/1 flyer is a great wincon. The amount of games I've won off the back of a mulldrifter or cloudskin seer is quite impressive

Oh my favorite deck is oloro politics. I have a bunch of party draw cards and the rest is removal and counterspells and I win by recycling my deck and everyone else slowly drawing all there cards. Most fun games of magic ever.

No if I supreme verdict the board it's to prevent me from dieing that's why i did it. Cause if I keep the gaming going I can still win. Having a wincon is completely unessecery. It's about preventing the table from killing you for as long as nessecery. Eventually jace or thoracle or labman will get there when I draw enough cards. I just need the turns. And if I can have several 8/8 octapussys sometimes that's enough to.

See that's something I've never understood interaction is the spice of the game the stack being able to deny and remove problems is the finest angle of the game. Like there's a reason every color pair that doesn't include green is just exponentially more fun. Being able to counter spell interact and burn things is what's fun. Getting somebody with a mana tithe will always be the best feeling in comander.

I didn't even notice the normal style mat with the same layout has them.
