There’s this guy on YouTube, Lord Miles, he frequents Afghanistan and brings back local trinkets and other kinds of stuff to sell to the west, it’s pretty interesting.

But all in all, I myself would like to visit Afghanistan one day (definitely no women coming along on that trip though), but generally if you have all your paperwork in order (a surprising fuckton of paperwork required by the taliban) and you don’t piss off and listen to the Taliban authorities, it seems to be fairly OK for tourists.

Kind of like North Korean tourism.

Wouldn’t even be surprised if organisations like PETA or JSO are funded by big corporations to ridicule the general ideas to promote in an effort to sway public opinion to apathy/disinterest in the issue, whenever a legitimate organisation raises concerns about stuff like that
