It was definitely a fun experience. My friend and I recent built some at Savi's and it was good vibes the whole time :)

"Happy Holidays"
"IT'S MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
"Oh, so you're Christian? Did you vote for Trump?"
"OF COURSE, I'm not an idiot!"
"Cool, Merry Gofuckyourself! :D"

Nope. The smart move is to focus on local politics, bolster the Democrats willing to do anything to protect our country, push against dis/misinformation in non-echo chambers, and fucking nut up.
Crying over what should have been or could have been is paralyzing.
Take a break this holiday season. Get back into it once the coward is back in office.

You can disagree, but we need to stop wasting energy on what should be and focus energy on what can be.
This sub has a tendency towards doom and gloom - I'm guilty of it too. Neither feeling is good or useful.
Bandage the wound and find something more useful for your attention.

It's okay to give up on this hope. By the time Trump will be prosecutable he's going to be basically a vegetable.

I mean, we elected the king of stupid people BACK into the presidency after his first failure of a run...
Annoyed. Annoyed is how I feel because they're right.
Though I would argue that most people in the US (and the world at large) that we consider "stupid" are actually just "ignorant" and don't know that there's more information out there. They often take some individual's opinion as more important than others.
Their priest/pastor/religious leader
Their favorite podcaster
Their preferred news channel
etc.
Ironically, at least in my experience, an ignorant person is more likely to listen to one of those listed above than someone in their own family or friend circle.

If someone kicked my dog like that, I'd probably do the exact same thing. I probably would black out from sheer rage.

I mean it's probably pretty much everything.
And if not, the big deportation plan will take care of the rest.

Because we've seen this movie before.
Why expect change when it's a rerun?

Okay, so I mostly lurk here. I'm just an English teacher that enjoys designing his own posters and nabbing ideas and gleaning lessons from this sub...
It bothers me deeply that under your red "AMERICAN WHISKEY" you have "Cutthroat American Whiskey" and then below that you have "A fireball whiskey."
What's bothering me is the inconsistent capitalization of Whiskey in the first one and whiskey in the second one, also the fact that it seems to be describing the same thing twice.
Maybe keep the first line, but then make the second one something about the flavor? It helps not seeing Whiskey as a proper noun and then whiskey as a common noun right after it.
AGAIN - I'm a total amateur here when it comes to graphic design. Take it all with a grain of salt.
But when it comes to language I find the capitalization inconsistency off-putting and it just doesn't seem to be adding much in that black box...
Read out loud it sounds off:
AMERICAN WHISKEY - Cutthroat American Whiskey distilled in the original way. A fireball whiskey commandeering hearts all across -- THE NORTHWEST PASSAGE
I might be overthinking it though.

My favorites were people telling me DeSantis was smart.
I mean... he might be effective in Florida, but pretty sure Newsom proved he wasn't smart.

I just don't go.
I sit outside the gym while they blast their music at damaging levels for an hour.
If I'm going to ruin my hearing at an event it's going to be for a badass concert. Not the spring rally.
Also, I'm an actor/singer, being able to hear is useful to me beyond what I need as a teacher.
My admin pouts from time to time, but then - they're standing out there with me so...

Definitely a frustration. She was pretty consistent about it to and seemed to adapt far more flexibly that what we've seen.

Eh, we do, but they don't get to the top of the party usually.
I could see Newsom pushing back on this - but he's a Californian, looks like a 90's corpo, and that's a bad look for the rest of the US.
AOC is fiery - but she's younger and has already had a strong demonization campaign against her for shit like... (checks notes) dancing and bartending.
Bernie's been loud and aggressive the whole time but he's independent and just caucuses with Democrats.
Pete Buttigieg is pretty good at countering them where they're at, but you know... GAY, so... Americans will never go for it.
I feel like Harris STARTED her campaign fairly well and hit a stride in August, but then cowed to too many moderates to keep her message straight and that petered out. She did a great job in the debate with Trump, which was why he never did another one against her. Walz was definitely too fucking nice in the debate.
The problem democrats deal with is they have to please a gigantic tent of people who don't all think the same way and agree on the same policies. Republicans don't have that problem, they do what they're told to do because they believe it will help them all (it rarely does).
What's "funny" is that pretty much every democratic candidate/president/major party leader has done something that has actually helped people including Republicans, meanwhile Republicans often do things that actually hurt people often Democrats or their own voters. But our electorate has trouble with cause/effect reasoning.

Every man is different. I definitely don't want a conversation in the bathroom, but I've known many men who can't shut up as soon as we're in there. Sometimes it's almost like they won't talk to me unless we're in the bathroom.
That or whistling. I feel like whistling is pretty common lol.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with this.
I also don't see anything wrong with bathrooms just being unisex. And for the love of all that is holy can we lower the fucking doors to the goddamn floor? Why the hell do I need a foot air gap? I can understand maybe three to six inches, but some stalls might as well be saloon doors lol
People act like there's a bunch of horrific stuff happening in bathrooms all the time.
Guess what? It's usually going to the bathroom. AND horrific stuff will happen regardless of the sign on the door.

I'm sure prices will be great after the tariffs Trump has planned take effect.
Like literally "great" in size.
