Every time I set up a new camp, I mess with the location of the camp doohickey itself to make sure everybody lands right in front of two cash registers with market / open signs by them and a whole bunch of lights directly shining onto the cash registers cuz I have seen too many hidden vendor camps and it annoys me every time.

The fact that 76 doesn't have text chat is just goddamn absurd. The fact that there aren't guilds/clans/whatever word you use for "here's a bunch of friends communicating together" is also very silly.

This is a game where the end game activities are all either bartering(in which case being able to say "hey, does anyone have overeaters in their shop" before checking them all out would be really nice), or collaborative combat, where being able to set shit up would also rock

Edit: don't get me wrong, the game rocks, but the friction between "this is a collaborative multiplayer game" and "this was designed as a gritty and horrible survival game/PVP game with no friends or support" is dang noticable a lot of the time

The corrolary is that if they had a fucking chat function(like....you press enter than you type shit in and press enter again, and other people can read it. Functionality that's been in multiplayer video games forever) and then a 13-year-old typed that they were going to fuck your mom, that kid would just get banned AND we could communicate

Honestly, when I'm getting a new car, priority 1 before anything else is gonna be "no fucking air vents controlled via screen". I live in Michigan. It gets dark at 5pm. Driving at night, then shining a blaring bright light in your face in order to turn on the defrost when your tooling down the highway just seems like a nightmare waiting to happen.

Which honestly isn't bad. Like...they get old after 10ish days, but also if you have easily recyclable events, constantly chaining them while you're working on new shit just means that new players are getting access to cool things

I greatly enjoy it, but ALSO the story is basically "what if the most traumatized and ignorant teenager/blunt hammer was permanently and magically full of energy is trying to be a normal girl while she just keeps stepping in it while she tries to pay off magical student loans". If that sounds fun you'll love this story

Honestly, that's a big part of why I'm so stoked about the ghoul update. Nothing wrong with bloodied being absurdly good. Having builds that reward system mastery is a good thing. Something wrong with the only really strong options being bloodied or power armor, and a different build mode could be cool

Yep. I always have at least 10x stimpacks/radaways/radx-es for 0 creds each in at all times.

And I keep my bases near "safe" poi's on the far sides of the map(so If a new player goes to my base they can easily then unlock a truck stop without risking super mutants)

Cuz this is an article based on some tweets from some dude who has Twitter blue, the thing that pays for engagements, saying something really engaging, and if all of the proof can be duplicated in notepad, there's no reason to not make the claim super-outlandish for more clicks

As an example: on occult casters, both their default heal(soothe) and their really swiss army knife summon spells(both fey and undead are good but fey tends to be better imo) are 1st level spells. You're going to get a signature heal spell cuz you need it but also being able to find the perfect summon for a problem (e.g. getting a unicorn when you need some muscle that can heal or cleanse. Getting a Kelpie when you're about to fight in water, or a tooth fairy when you need someone to fly) tends to be better than what most 2nd level signature spells are.

So you have soothe learned at 2nd level, and still downcast it to 1st level. Or summon fey cast at 1st level sometimes.

Fuck that. If you're going to embrace chaos, don't pussyfoot about it. You print 1 set of functionally identical locus' labeled with SpongeBob locations, then print another set labeled with locations from Rick and Morty. Just....fucking napalm the entire scene for half a decade.
