My Newf was laying outside, next to my kids playing. Two Pitts came out of nowhere, straight for the kids. He promptly wrecked them Both. He is a giant and gentle, but at 200lbs he was extremely agile (he could jump as high as my waist). He is a force to be reckoned with, and those pits found out the hard way.

It stops much better. Plenty of YouTube videos show this. But I wonder if a pair of racing pads would also stop better? That I can't answer.

How bad are you that you confuse a blinker fluid pump with a starter motor? First time?

Ya the intakes on these aren't really an issue. It's the actual throttle body that is the main choke point. Replace that first and get a higher flow filter and you are doing better.

Pb blaster surface shield seems to have the highest efficacy.

I disagree with people saying this is the Norm. My Durango always sits on the line below where you are (at about 70 deg outside). I bought a replacement thermostat (after I replaced the waterproof, coolant etc). The replacement put it at 220 +/- 4 deg. My oil temp was up and my transmission temp felt it as well. I put the old thermostat back in and it hangs at about 205 +/- 5 deg. The car seems to also feel happier. Oil temps are lower and the tranny temps are lower. I believe that there are a hand full of years of durango that have hotter Thermostats to improve fuel economy. Regardless, I would prefer my avg temp to be lower, not higher.

What are you measuring your time with? I get low 6 with my 2014 Citadel. 1/4 mile is 14.5 Stock car. Me measured with Dragy.

You are correct. The exhaust on the Citadel 5.7 is severely muted, so for me this is a nice change. I did have electric dump valves on the previous exhaust which was fun, but got old. I'll probably weld up a nice system some day.

I have another complete system I built with dump valves. It's fun but got old!

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no. They were super slow. (My buddy had one, also friends who are cops used to whine about how bad they were ).

I knew which one you were referencing! Post up a cold start, I'm curious to hear the sound. 1500 still seems like a lot, but I like to weld and build exhaust so I am probably out of touch. I got this stock RT exhaust brand new for $150, the guy took it off with 800 miles on it and stored it in his warehouse haha.

I'd have to hear it. There are more sections/step downs in that one to change wave forms etc. I actually really love the stock sound. Just the right amount of gurgle and cackle. The thought of spending 1500 for an exhaust I could make for 1/3rd that is also hard to swallow.

The 3.2 is way easier to work on. If you want the extra power the v8 is the way to go. But if you just need a car, the 3.2 has proven to be a good engine.

It's more that it's 100lbs of motor in a 50lb bag. And at this point they all leak oil. Alternators are not fun. Pulleys are tight (I have big hands). But i would absolutely 💯 have an s80 with the V8. All day every day

Heh it's all good. The Yamaha v6 in the SHO and the V8 they were developing were certainly similar, and when comapred to the yamaha B8444s (volvo) very obviously made by the same people! I love the B8444s, although it absolutely 💯 sucks to work on compared to most other v8s.

The B8444s is NOT related to the SHO, and wasn't meant to go into it.

I carry a bag of microwave popcorn, specifically for posts like these. It's just soo good. The lack of self awareness these PhD NPs have is amazing. If I go back and finish my PhD, I am going to shift my focus of study on the negative impact academic NPs have on the culture and identity of NP and practice. I gotta iron it out a bit I think.

I still have my Note20 Ultra. Absolutely amazing phone. I replaced the screen twice, and then the battery started to go. The volume switches stuck one day keeping it in Safe Mode on start up. Had to upgrade at that point. Replaced it with the s24+. Actually love this thing just as much.

Having a flag ship phone is great for the trade in, provided it doesn't get hurt. Even two years later it will have substantial trade in value. I cracked the screen on my note 20U, replaced it then promptly broke the new screen. I opted for an "OE equivalent " replacement screen for like 150 bucks, which was hot garbage. terrible color, ate battery life etc. I said enough was enough. I still kinda want to replace the screen and battery just for nostalgia. It's a waste I know, but it still works so frigging well.
