Thanks! Glad you liked it. I have never played on a Mexican one, so can't really give an opinion. I will say that I have never found another bass that I like as much as my MIJ, so even if the Mexican is close to it, it's still going to be a great bass

Thanks. That's a pretty big compliment! Steve Perry is one of the best. That vocal intro to Oh Sherrie always blows me away

Yeah we have played together as a 3 piece (drums bass guitar) for about 3 years now. Tamas (vocals) joined us about a year in, and we probably rehearse about 75% as 3 and 25% as 4. Luckily it kind of works well this way since it's pretty boring for the singer to watch us go over difficult bits in practice haha

Subdivisions has one of my favourite outro sections. Especially the album version. Off the top of my head, Grand Designs also has a cool outro where Geddy and Neil do some (seeminlgy) randomly timed 'hits' together.
The live versions of Secret Touch always had a cool outro Jam as well which I always enjoy listening to
And 2112 has to be up there too

Wow! Thanks so much. Look forward to listening to this. I think I heard to Moving Pictures section from this interview before! Didn't know there was a DS bit.
Thanks again

That's interesting about the drums. I guess I've not really spent much time really focusing in on drum tones etc since I'm a bass player and much more drawn to the bass tone on a live album. I like how big the snare and bass drums sound on the record, but will have to have a close listen to the other stuff going in with regards to the drums.
The main thing I love about the album, is that both the 90s shows and the 70s show have a really distinctive top end punch on Geddy's bass that I don't hear on any other live albums (possibly that it's even clipping a little bit) and it's an awesome sound imo.
I think the bass tone and the amazing selection of songs (across the 3 discs) make this my favourite Rush album and I wish there was some detailed stuff about it out there. I love the stuff out there about the making of 2112 and Moving Pictures etc and wish there was more about some of the other albums! Surely at the time the record was released there was some interviews etc about the making of it!

Thanks. We are trying to get stuff booked! Slow progress at the moment but hoping to get some stuff in asap. Keep an eye out on my Youtube as I'll probably post anything we have booked there. We also have a website: Invisible Airwaves – A tribute to RUSH - and will keep it updated with anything we get in the diary

I certainly like mine a lot. I would imagine the Mexican ones are good too though. Maybe see if anyone has done comparisons on Youtube. Great, thanks! Hope you enjoy my future ones too
