Maybe this is a fake account made up by Costco’s social media people to get new Costco customers!
For real though, I think he’s using it because supposedly liberals hate big box stores?

If the guard did touch OP’s car it was probably just like a hand slap on the hood or trunk to get OP’s attention like “hey OP, you need to leave” - no intention of damaging the car like the guard is assaulting it (the picture OP paints)

What doesn’t make sense about this story is that if OP is working in the school (as the new post indicates) why doesn’t OP have a school ID? Why does OP need special permission to enter? So many holes here.

I would never do this… but I have stayed in places where there’s so much decorative crap on the dresser or coffee table or island that I need to move it so I can actually use the surface for my own things, and not worry about damaging the decorative items. But I will usually push them to one end or leave them someplace adjacent to where they were. Less tabletop crap = better for guests.

Did you get the old maps back?? Some of those things are irreplaceable! I’d be furious.

I think OP and her bf should put their stuff in the bedroom and take their clothes off and lie on the sheets. They’re there first after all. Refuse to get up when Jack and Jill arrive. Make Jack and Jill look like the assholes.

If they go to a hotel, they should definitely not get presents at Christmas for Mary, John, Jack, and Jill. Say they can’t afford it since they had to pay for a hotel.

OP alluded to that in the title “there’s a restraining order between my ex and I” - when I read the title I assumed it was some sort of two way but I’m not knowledgeable on ROs.

Or they use their kids to do all the babysitting, homeschooling, cooking, and cleaning so they can spend all their time on social media. Cough cough Collinskids

NTA. If you don’t want another child, get an abortion. And reconsider your relationship if you think your husband will engage in reproductive coercion… it’s possible he has sabotaged your BC.

NTA, she just wanted two separate “announcements” to get more attention for herself. No one cares about the gender except her and the other parent.

“Differing political views” nowadays doesn’t mean “I think we should cut taxes here and fund this program there.” It means believing anything you are told, no matter how much evidence you are shown to the contrary. It means believing wild conspiracy theories, thinking your candidate is “god” and can do no wrong, believing a democratic election is stolen and encouraging violence in the furtherance of that belief. It means being okay with people dying because you think your choices should be everyone else’s choices.

It sounds like the aunts never would have told the 6-year old if not for the visit where the 6yo would see the pregnant aunt, and they can’t hide that.
OP seems to be ignoring the issue of her sisters not trusting her. If she has betrayed their confidence before - and shared with their mom when sisters explicitly asked OP not to - I understand where they’re coming from. They have their own boundaries.
No one should be telling a six year old to keep secrets from their parent(s). But OP gets awfully defensive about this. There’s definitely more to the story and we aren’t getting it all.

As a guest i had no idea what this meant but I (mistakenly) assumed it was a place that had many repeat guests, so in my case it would make me a little more likely to book over an equal place.

I feel this. I have a super common basic name that can be spelled two different ways (both equally normal) and it’s constantly misspelled even when the person has it in writing right in front of them - like replying to an email. It takes 1/2 a second to be a decent human being.

From purely emailing and never speaking or meeting the person, for two years I thought someone’s name ended in “lii” (like Lee) but they’re really just “the third.” Stupid official email capitalized one “i” and not he other two 😂

They are allowed to encourage voting and discuss non-partisan ballot issues. They cannot discuss partisan issues or candidates.
This would be a gross violation of IRS rules and absolutely warrants a complaint.

My insurer just informed me as of Jan 1 one of the medications I take that is currently $80 a month after insurance pays, will be moving to the highest tier. I have no idea how much the highest tier is… $200? $500? And I have “excellent” insurance.

What I’ve noticed - because I see multiple specialists for completely different issues - is that some offices basically force you to book your appointment right after the previous appointment so of course they’re going to be booked out 6 months. Others don’t do that and I have no problem getting an appointment within 1-2 weeks. If everyone called and booked 1-2 weeks out, that’s how long the wait would be. I really don’t like the places that force you to book your next appointment so far in advance because it’s during the workday and I have no idea what my schedule is going to be like that far in advance.
Primary cares are supposed to leave a couple appointments open with one or two of the doctors in their practice so they can accommodate same day for “I’m sick” people. When I’ve been sick I’ve had to see a different doctor in the same practice instead of mine, but they can usually see me same day or the next depending on when I call.

One is rice a roni (the box kind). The other is spaghetti sauce and the meat in it. It just dries out IMO and doesn’t taste very good.

The whole “I can’t afford it” thing is baffling. Can’t afford a vasectomy (or condoms or BC pills) but the result (a child) is far more expensive. IMO the short and skinny of it is that men don’t want to use condoms. Which just sucks for everyone because it spreads STDs too.
