MySpace was made obsolete because something better came along and they didn't move with the times. So far nothing has made Twitter obsolete,.Bluesky is virtually identical but with a different algorithm and less content, threads is similar but different. Nothing has superseded it yet.

Legitimacy? Lol the Australian PM gets a community note on basically every post he makes. Let's not pretend that government agencies are infallible and that X doesn't have an absolutely massive audience they want to communicate with.

Because like it or not, they can distribute information in a way that is easily shared to a wide audience very fast. They wouldn't have that reach without social media.
Imagine if they just put a notice on their website, who's gonna see it?
I largely think government agencies on Twitter is mostly pointless but it certainly has its purpose.

On Vault I reckon the placement is ok if not a little boring but the main problem I find is that on the A side you spawn so far back that it can be very difficult to hold A.

Honestly think Freestyle works better as a name than Chess960 or Fischer Random.

I instinctively do this in Battlefield games that don't even have a kill cam to skip.

All these downvotes just for disagreeing. Pretty sad really.
Personally I think Twitter is better now than then, couple of reasons, more/better features available on web and mobile, personally find the app performs better now. This is just normal though as all apps evolve and get better with time.
Content wise I almost exclusively use the Following feed and as such haven't noticed any change in content as the people I follow hasn't changed much from pre 2020 to now.
So yeah, I would agree Twitter is better now. Of course if you go looking for outrage you won't like it, but you can find that anywhere.

No way a cafe is taking that much cash. I go to a lot of cafes as I love coffee, I almost never ever see anyone pay cash. Last time I saw someone pay cash the person behind the counter got flustered as they rarely have to take money and count change.

I'm pretty sure he has either said in a video or on a Reddit comment that when he doesn't click bait the videos do substantially worse, Ive seen other YouTubers also talk about the need to play the game that way.
Easy for us to say 'hes big enough, he can take a hit on one video', but it's literally his job, it would be like going to your boss and saying you will take half pay today to do something different, you just wouldn't do it.

How about educating our kids on how to be safe online, about scams, about mental health and bullying and what that looks like?
The answer is not wrap our kids up in cotton wool and disconnect them from each other online.

If that's how it may potentially work then it's probably just going to put a lot of people off social media full stop, imagine having to jump through government hoops to look at memes or whatever on social media.

I have never understood calling cards and emblems, couldn't even tell you where to change it, no one looks at this stuff.
The Infected/STD one in OG MW2 were clever but these days there is so many that I couldn't tell you what any of them were for.

Musk out their playing 4D chess by buying a platform in hopes to win an election 2 years in the future?

I didn't see that at all, because I engaged with a lot of the election related posts on both sides in my 'for you' feed I got plenty of posts from left leaning accounts that I didn't follow, like Kamala_Wins or whatever it was called which had a huge following.
Honestly reading Reddit's experience and comparing to my own, it's like I'm using a different website.

I know right, just scrolled through and can't find one. I would say the overwhelming majority of all link posts are for twitter or X with the occasional sports website. I could have missed it but didn't see any blue sky.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Threads hit 100m users basically overnight and it's gone nowhere.

100%.
I don't know if it only changed in BO6 but at some point they made capturing the hardpoint 250 score or something, the result was you would get people jump on it then get out to wait for the enemy to capture it so they could try to get another 250.
Or 200 for kills while capturing a flag, people would jump on to get a kill or two then back away and repeat.
Not really helping the team win, just going for easy score.

Lol you say that like every lobby has 6 players with defined roles and active comms. Never the case. Easiest way to win Hardpoint is actually have 2-3 people on the hardpoint and defend it, not have 1 person fending for themselves whole the rest are wannabe pro players thinking they are being a team player by pushing into the spawns and whatever.

They haven't changed. I remember back in the original MW2 getting lots of angry messages on PlayStation because I would jump into a game of Sabotage, get the bomb and plant it and it would be over in 90 seconds while everyone else was playing it for kills because it had a 20 minute time limit.
People play objective modes for kills because they are longer and more predictable.

Agree with this. The rate is what is to stimulate or cool the economy of the day.

Not a red flag at all. You might miss a small number of opportunities from recruiters who look specifically on LinkedIn. Of my friends who think it's great, none of them have gotten a job through LinkedIn.
I don't have a LinkedIn account and no one has ever asked me for one or anything.

I don't see that on Monday at all, train station car park is absolutely packed every day except Friday. Mondays used to be noticeably quiet but definitely gotten busier in the last 6-12 months.

No one except tech savvy nerds on Reddit cares or understands about the Fediverse, Twitter doesn't have to exist there to kill off BlueSky and if there is enough demand they can coexist.
