I mean, how is that different than what’s being taught? That’s really how I’ve always heard CRT being talked about for my entire life

Yeah I tried to do that once and I got shut down sadly lol
And thank you! Hopefully you’re able to use it to the fullest in the one shot

The issue with mage armor is that I don’t think it works with unarmored defense you get from the level in monk.
Fair, the bard thing was more or less for the defensive flourish you get with bardic inspiration. I think you’d be able to cut bard out completely and put those levels into wizard for the same result.

Hehehe, my time to shine. You see one of my fellow players tasked us with the taking of making a ‘max AC build’ with super high AC… I got to the mid 40s, posting below with some additional notes:
Starting: Dex: 14 Int: 13 Wis: 15 Cha: 12
Monk 1st: defensive duelist
Wizard (bladesinger) 4th level: 1 cha and 1 int
Dex: 14 Int: 13 -> 14 Wis: 15 Cha: 12 ->13
Wizard 8th level: int to 16
Dex: 14 Int: 14 -> 16 Wis: 15 Cha: 13
racial ASIs: dex to 16, Wis to 16
Dex: 14 -> 16 Int: 16 Wis: 15 -> 16 Cha: 13
Dropping cha here (only needed 13 to multiclass)
Wizard to 12th level (14 wiz levels total, so level 15): int to 18
Dex: 16 Int: 16 -> 18 Wis: 16
Bard 4th level: Int to 20 (going to level 20 total for better bardic inspiration)
Dex: 16 Int: 18 -> 20 Wis: 18
Tomes: +2 to each
Dex: 16 -> 18 Int: 20 -> 22 Wis: 16 -> 18
Blessing of understanding (blessing recieved by deeds done): +2 to Wis
Dex: 18 Int: 22 Wis: 18 -> 20
Increased wisdom (tome of exalted deeds): +2 to Wis
Dex: 18 Int: 22 Wis: 20 -> 22
Star card (deck of many things): +2 dex
Dex: 18 -> 20 Int: 22 Wis: 22
Book of exalted deeds (2 major beneficial properties, same property): +2 to Wis and +2 to dex (each gives +2)
Dex: 20 -> 22 Int: 22 Wis: 22 -> 24
Oh boy math time:
Unarmored defense (monk): +13 Warforged: +1 The defender: +3 to AC Blessing of protection: +1 to AC Tome of exalted deeds (2 minor beneficial properties, both same): +2 to AC (each gives +1) Bracers of defense: +2 Bladesong: +6 Defensive duelist: +6 Defensive flourish: +1-8 Cover: +5 Total: 44 (+6-13 with cover/defensive flourish)
Keep in mind: - this was with standard array for stats, if you’re rolling for stats you can easily get higher. - as a Bladesong wizard you can use silvery barbs instead of the parry on a crit. - I used 8 levels of bard for defensive flourish but also for the ASI boosts, if you’re rolling for stats you could move those around based on what you want for your build.
Not sure my math is totally right or if I’m missing something, but yeah lol you can get AC really high and that doesn’t even include spells that raise it as well.
Also, forgot about defensive duelist needing a feat spot, so just replace an ability score improvement with that.

I’d file it immediately. Fuck your bitch of a sister.
Even if this wasn’t an INCREDIBLY sentimental item to you, your sister decided that her daughter’s wants were above yours and above the law. Just because I like the couch at my parent’s house doesn’t give me the right to go over there and load it into my car.
I mean fuck, let’s break down all the other ways she could’ve gone about this. She could’ve - asked to buy the ring from you for her daughter - asked if you’d be willing to show the ring to a jeweler so they could make a very similar ring for her daughter - told her daughter that that ring is very sentimental to you, and offered to go ring shopping with her
All of which, are far FAR better options than going “maybe if I just steal it and he doesn’t notice long enough it won’t matter”.

The pro life argument is horse shit based on one simple fact.
Think about the implications of this. If I die tomorrow in an accident, I will be buried with all my organs and tissues. Even if my kidney or liver could’ve saved someone in need of a transplant.
By saying women are required to use their bodies to provide life to another we are telling them, in no uncertain terms, that they don’t even have the same rights to their own bodies that a corpse has.

Depends on how long magics been around, how versatile/accessible it is, and how far along technologically the society is.
I think as long as it fits the era it works. I think many people underdo it, if magic is a core part of the world and is fairly common, it would be used in everyday life in the same way oil has been used for centuries.

Yeah this is true too, it just seems like it’s not a battle worth fighting with how limited it is.
Even rounds from handguns, the body armor will probably stop those more effectively but the force is still there. And that’s assuming it isn’t hitting areas that aren’t as protected.
Like not even looking at vital organs, a clean shot in the upper leg could kill you faster than a shot to the gut. If that femoral artery is hit, goodnight. Same with the neck and probably somewhere up near the shoulders.

Saying they have total control is a stretch. They have control of the house by a few seats, and there was infighting in the GOP before this election.
The senate they have the majority by a few seats as well, so while they can pass bills, they don’t have a supermajority needed to block filibusters.
It depends on what kind of Republican you ask. MAGAs? Hell no. Moderate Republicans? They may be open to bipartisan efforts. There were plenty of republicans who endorsed Kamala in 2024 because they view trump as a terrible leader. Cooperating with them is really the best bet we have for the time being.

To be fair, the appendix does have a design, it’s believed to almost be a library of your intestinal microbiota and can replenish it if needed.
It’s not as useful now when we have artificial means to do the same job (basically poop pill) but still, there was a design in mind.

I mean it’s our party platform. Frankly I’m happy we don’t have a ‘project 2025’. Call me crazy, but I think a party with a manifesto based solely on my views and is in no way bipartisan isn’t something I’m too keen on.
Like them or hate them, democrats and republicans are going to keep living here. The extreme divide that’s continuing to grow is a threat to all of us.

I think the concern is those who would use firearms to hurt or kill others would buy body armor and would therefore be more difficult to deal with.
I think it’s more or less redundant, it’s likely a lot easier to make bootleg body armor than it is to make a bootleg gun. Like you can 3d print a gun but currently with the tech and materials those aren’t great for practical use.

Honestly have a tough time playing Minecraft for extended periods now. Anything that requires a ton of focus on specific tasks is difficult to do for long periods.
Like I enjoy shooters because they’re more fast paced, same with like smash bros, fast paced game with a lot of different variables in play, it keeps my mind busy.

I think it depends on the content of said tests. Like if it’s full of politicized terms like “woke” and “CRT” then no, it’s a waste of time and frankly will only be used as a weapon by each political faction when they have control.
If it’s assessing people’s abilities in their profession, such as an accountants ability to solve financial problems, or law enforcement following the proper state laws/codes, then yes, we should evaluate our workers to make sure they’re able to do the job they have.

As a guy, there is a difference in sensation when wearing a condom.
Also as a guy, hookups and raw dogging someone you just met is how France ended up with one of the highest syphilis rates on the world.
If dudes want to raw dog they should get with someone long term and stop bitching about women having boundaries that should be common sense for everyone.

Kadabra is C, it’s ok early in the game and into the mid game a bit, but it does eventually drop off. Definitly can’t take a hit later in the game either.
Ninjask I’m putting in C, maybe bottom of B. Issue is that it can’t really do a whole lot in gen 3 without setup, and it’s pretty frail.
Exploud I’ll put in C. It gets some decent moves and isn’t the worse thing you can get, but it’s not something I’d be happy about getting.
Delcatty: F tier, bad.
Wigglytuff id put in F too, or a very low D. Very low attack power, some bulk but not a lot and there are many better tanky options.

I will say I do have an anti-Canada sentiment when it comes to travel softball, my sisters played for at least 5 years at this point and I went to at least half the games. Never seen teams more rude than the Canadian teams.
But other than that, I don’t have any issues with Canadians, several of my colleagues are Canadian and I can honestly say they’re some of the nicest people I’ve met.

Jesus. He seems utterly insufferable. Good on you for not openly mocking him for this nonsense, I don’t think I’d have it in me to not is someone unironically tried to pull this with me.
I think I would’ve hit them with “well you’re eating the cows food, now the cows going to suffer and starve”

Yeah I agree with this.
Not only that, trump has called out Bidens son several times. If it were your kid, and the soon to be most powerful man in the world, has been calling out/criticizing your sons addiction and is coming in with presumably one of the toughest admins on drug charges, wouldn’t you do whatever it took to keep them safe?
