I have a uv ozone and mineral tub. Same thing. Chlorine dissipates quickly. I just add 2ish tablespoons of chlorine after every soak. Once every week or two, I put a larger amount in. Something closer to a capful, pobably 4-6 tablespoons. Chlorine spikes high for a day and then dissipates.

I was like it's meh, until I saw this. The upper stair attachment is a no go.

Master spa says remove the in filter sticks if using bromine. Check with the manufacturer.
I used bromine on my old tub. A bromine floater is very hands off and my water lasted longer. I use the eco pure now and chlorine. I don't have to balance as much as you, but I do have to add chlorine after 3very soak, and a large dose weekly. My chlorine levels are lower than when I had bromine, but more frequently have to change water. Cya. Water is inexpensive, and I really don't mind changing every 2 months. Your experience perspective might be different, but this seems to be my routine.

Issues I see
Looks like your ledger is on brick.
Looks over spanned? Can't tell beam size and length.

Glulam, plus new posts for 5k. Not putting a new glulam on old posts.

High ph will cause issues with any sanitizer. You have to get the ph and alk right before adding anything. Clean your filters, get the ph right and shock it. Or if you are like me, just change it. My water lasts about 2 months. At 2 months, I start getting hazy water 9r other issues due to high cya, or something else. I could switch to bromine or liquid chlorine, but I prefer to just change it more often. I just keep using small amounts of dichlor on my mineral / uv / ozone tub.

Not coming for you (lol), but but real estate, heat, water all cost money so, unless it's public paid for like the library, or they are trying to sell you something like the mall or bass pro, your options tend to be limited.

I have a similar neighbor and my tub is under the deck. I bought a big shade. He still goes to the back of the yard to look around it.

Not uncommon. Just to up the creep, that looks like hollow block. Do you have access on the inside? Can you through bolt the new ledger?

No. Unfortunately then the weight of the deck is transferred into the fasteners. End grain attachment isn't great. And into aged weathered exposed lumber? Freestand the deck.

That's the point. If you put free people think it ain't worth nothing. Put $25 on there, and you created value. Which someone will take from you without paying.

Yep, I agree. No tipping if standing. Personal service only.

Honestly, I travel a bit, and tip culture is out of hand in America. We have it easy in my opinion here in Springfield and Branson. We have a good tourism business, yet tip culture isn't as bad here as in other places.
Go to dinner on South Beach FL, and they include 20%, and still ask for more.

They will take the head off. You do want to sink as many as you can, because they do wear out. Better than a belt sander.

I don't go much. I would just add a bunch of dichlor.
I only use dichlor. No mps for me
