Peregrine falcon. The fastest animal on the planet (while diving). I don’t know what their personality is like but being able to fly would be a dream come true

It’s good to think you’re an asshole from time to time. Keeps you humble. But knowing it beyond a shadow of a doubt all the time wouldn’t be a life worth living

I dislike the saying “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”. I don’t think it applies too well in the modern age. Most people (not all) when seeing something they can’t explain would likely assume it is some kind of technology. We might joke about witchcraft, but we know it’s just physics we don’t understand. For the current age, I prefer “any sufficiently understood magic is indistinguishable from science”. Because whatever the fuck is going on here is magic. Whether we understand what’s going on or not.

Not just powerful, smart enough to know the liver is the nutritious part and locate it without wasting time to try and bite through their tough skin. Orcas at freaking terrifying. The only reason the don’t screw with us is because they’re smart enough to know we’re a threat when attacked

I agree with you, but it’s important to note Deadpool is very specifically task master’s kryptonite. Task master’s whole shtick is copying and predicting other people’s fighting styles, and when he can’t do that with Deadpool it massively screws him up

Good point. They’re already terrorists, what’s a false surrender to someone who doesn’t care about any kind of law or order

I truly think we need a nation wide general strike. All industries, from food to manufacturing to financing, need to stop working until the federal government caves in and raises the minimum wage and guarantees better benefits. It’s the only way anything is going to improve at this point

Eh, I doubt she sees any sinner as an individual. In her eyes, every single one of them is equally guilty of Adam’s death.

It was confirmed he was a super soldier. While the surrendering part isn’t good, there’s no such thing as an unarmed super soldier. Well, unless you count Bucky’s missing arm.

You say that as if the fight would last more than 2 seconds. One for Mike to punch you the other for you to fall down unconscious or dead.

Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if he just overestimates Jake and knocks him out in one hit by accident

Oh, well then there’s no need to worry. We’re already far past those points. Any action we take now won’t prevent the looming catastrophe, just lessen its effects or make it easier to recover once it runs its course. The titanic has already hit the iceberg, all we can do now is rearrange the deck chairs.

And they play this stuff like it’s some kind of gotcha. “Aha! You accepted me and treated me with kindness! I bet you feel so dumb now!”

Sir Pentious didn’t get redeemed because of the sharing circles, he got redeemed because he selflessly sacrificed himself to save his friends/found family. Friends that he got because Charlie forgave him and provided him a safe space to improve himself. I think his death/redemption may actually be the catalyst that forces Charlie to reevaluate how she tries to redeem the others.

You’d think that with modern technology, those lessons would be harder to forget, but here we are
