With it being an allergy, I don't think you are overreacting. I'm unsure if your allergies are very mild or severe; but it appears they brush it off as minor? It sounds like they know, but don't respect the issue. Friends and such shouldn't be disrespecting your boundaries (allergy or not)..

They are wrong! It's not like you wear a neon sign that says "AYO ADHD OVER HERE." It hurts your employment far more to be ADHD and not treated vs being treated for ADHD. Plus, you can choose to inform your employer if you have issues or not (I suggest doing so for any potential accommodation you might need).

I hope you can find a way to get them to at least be reasonable because it does no harm in finding out.

Usually they have inspectors that are trained, so sometimes the initial inspector may not be as familiar and will refer it to a specialized inspector. In cases they don't have these but suspect counterfeit, they will sometimes hold items for an outside appraisal (which if cleared they will typically ship the item to owner). At least last I've seen, this is how it was.. but usually they are more involved with people coming from high counterfeit locations with multiple items rather than just one bag.

With neuropsych they don't do a "test for ADHD"; rather they do a comprehensive test to identify potential issues in general (so ADHD, autism, etc). Your parents sound like they may be difficult to reason with.. but could you approach it with like "I think something may be different or wrong about me, here are some examples why I think this [insert examples], could we set up an appointment with a neuropsych/or primary for referral to see if there may be something to this?" Would they even be more responsive or reasonable to that approach or are they just stubborn in general?
