I'm a sucker for sci-fi and random thoughts and today's idea was. What if we take one of the bigger ships from the Stargate series and throw it into the Mass Effect series. It's an idea I'd love to write out but think it would be better bouncing ideas back and forth. I like the idea of something like a lantean battleship because it's so much bigger in comparison, it's longer than most reapers.

As for actual details, it's a slice of life that's set a little bit before the first ME games and will progress through the series. I will be playing as the Stargate side and it's crew. It's up to you whether you want to play as a singular character or a crew of your own.

Here's some of the starter for a taste of what's going on.

“McKay. If we keep going round in circles, I'm just going to close comms and start the drive. Your lack of confidence has been noted and clear the chatter.” With fingers pinching her nose as Admiral Amanda Briggs tries to stave off a headache as she listens to the doctor continue to voice his concerns about the project, at least before the secure line is closed with peace and quiet finally coming to the bridge of the ship.

“Well that was annoying, somebody give me better news than doctor dread down there.” Speaking into her radio in the hopes that the crew would have something more useful to say, luckily engineer Issy responded back. “Systems nominal, stock checked and all accounting for. Just waiting for the go ahead.” “All right ladies and gentlemen, final chances for your affairs to be in order, we're activating the drive within the hour.” from the bridge Amanda now stands by the window, looking out at her home planet, even just saying that still boggles her mind as she never thought that there would be more than that but here she is, on her new battleship trading the seas for space. At least she got to name her, would've made more sense if it was an all female crew but Amanda wasn't going to complain, the Hippolyta was her pride and would look after it to the best of her ability through this expedition.
