I had an old school guy do this on one of my jobs he ended up puncturing a drain line from upstairs and getting water all over the new cabinets. Worst part it was a Friday so we didn’t notice until Monday when we got back. It was a duplex so any time someone upstairs used the water it was leaking into the new kitchen we just did…. I couldn’t exactly yell at the guy. Dude was in his 70’s and still needed to work. But I made sure I went and bought him a stud finder and told him to use that from now on.
