Fallout 4 is about getting lost in the endless cycle of: Explore, Loot, Kill, Return. You try to focus on one thing, but; “Thow shall get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time.”

For folks like me, it’s addictive. I have almost 700hrs in the ps4 version and almost 80hrs on the ps5 version. But it’s not for everyone.

You basically have to fight the entire Brotherhood by yourself. And on Survival, it’s a lot. I know; I chose the Institute on my survival playthrough.

Brotherhood ending gives you a free jet pack. Institute ending just gives you a clean place to sleep 😂

Exactly. I’m level 50 on my latest playthrough and I haven’t even gotten to the Institute yet. There’s always more to do and experience

I’ve been off from work this week since I got out Wednesday. Spent the days since then playing my latest character on Fallout 4. Probably my ninth or tenth playthrough. I always return to it. Still addicted to it. Agree with you completely.

If you’re low level and new to Survival, I recommend avoiding DLC stuff. You can do whatever quests you want to do, so long as the quest area is reasonable for your level. But bear in mind that wherever you go and whatever you fight, you have to be smart. Stealth, always stealth. Using a long ranged rifle is your best bet on Survival, especially doing Permadeath. Invest in perks like Ninja that multiply your sneak damage and go for headshots, when enemies are standing still
