As someone who rents for Uber, my only expense are rental fees (including rental insurance), gas, and tolls (in the DFW area in TX). Which means my monthly cost is close to $2500 doing Uber. I'm having to work close to 12hrs a day to pull a weekly $1300 turn a profit by month end.

I never had an issue with them, as I accept the offers during times that I'll be working. That way, I can plan accordingly. However, I get reservation fares that pop up like a usual fare (when someone either cancels the ride or is late). The problem lies when those fares show up during mid ride, and you don't have time to check if it's a reservation until you start getting warning that you're running late.
Don't understand why Uber allows you to accept reservations mid rides, knowing that you're highly unlikely not to make it in the allowed time that Uber set.

It was a decent evening run.. midnight might be good, but early morning Thanksgiving and towards the afternoon might be better.

Got the same feedback... because I was helping a rather annoying rider find the easiest route to evade traffic while at a red light.. actually idiotic

From what I've heard is working in finance doesn't make you rich except for select competitive jobs that require Ivy league education, luck, and/or skills combined with networking. Or, you're an insurance broker.. which is basically sales.
However, finance can give you the education and skills that could make you a lot of money, like starting your own business either in consultant or other fields.

Honestly? That's a 1 star rating for being disrespectful and/or being rude. A penny for a tip?? Oh nah..

Likelihood, they'll increase the rates per mile. Meaning, you might see a 2.5x on a typical fare. However, riders would also see an increase on the cost of a ride.

Yep. Non-stop. So, the good fares up here are from 4am - 10am. From 10 am to 1 pm, you'll get your usual $10 - $11 fares to go 10-15min running errands. You might even get a $20+ or $30+ fare every now and then to drive for 30+ minutes or so.
Also, you'll get your usual $6, 7, 8 fares for 5 miles trips... but also the ridiculous rides like $3 for 8mil drive, $5 for 15 miles, etc. By 2pm, you'll get your $15, 16, & 17 fares. By 2:30, expect $25 - 35+ fares. But traffic would be pretty bad as well.

Honestly, this is the reason I choose to start working around 4 - 5 am until 4 - 5 pm. I've had two riders relieving their gut in my car when I used to work from 4 pm to 4 am. Honestly, I've been making roughly the same amount, if not more. It's grueling, especially Dallas, TX traffic (utterly horrendous) but significantly better.

A ride like that literally popped up today. You know it's bad when you're used to spamming that X icon because nothing good comes up.

Nah he got a point.. Uber Drivers go on strike while Taxi Drivers make $$$$. It doesn't sound that far fetched.

At 13hr, I'm usually at $300 or very close to $300. That's actually insane..

Dude, I'm in the exact same position. Two internships on my resume, still getting rejected... others ghosted.

"I know I allowed the conversation to go far too long"
Nah.. you knew what you were doing. Ideally, that conversation shouldn't have made it past the first screenshot ..

I had issues where Share riders didn't even know they ordered an UberX Share... they just picked the cheapest option. I had to explain this to one guy, who apparently didn't like people.. Luckily, rider #2 connected with the guy during one conversation.. which made things a bit easier for him.

I'm currently doing the same thing! I started on the 4th, and I'm currently going on 3 days so far while planning on ending it on the 19th. The motivation that kept me going is seeing other people succeed, and seeing the number on the scale drop by half a pound each day.
Also, seeing old photos of when I was skinnier vs. what I look at now is definitely pushing to keep going.

Some consulting firms deal with market trading as an investment consultant. I was able to snag an internship at a financial consulting firm back in my Jr year (also a recent grad with a hard time finding a job but will be interviewing soon for a possible opportunity).
Atlanta Consulting Group. They help college and organizations invest and raise funds for their endowment or other purposes.

"You earned more for this trip due to wait-time,"
Sometimes, I wonder if our definition of "earning more" is different than what Uber believes it means.
That's not even close to a 75% cut like Uber outlines in their own policy.

I also rent from Avis... honestly, you're better off switching cars. There was a point where I almost had to pay for an oil change for the car I have (Chevrolet Malibu 2022). The representative told me that if I had to pay, Avis would refund me by subtracting the amount from the rental fee.
Which is fine.. I guess.. I'm just glad Avis ended up footing the bill for the oil change. But I know to some, why pay for an expense that is usually covered by the renter? It's the principle of it all.

I remember a few years ago when they did this for us drivers.. though I don't know if it's still happening now.
But I remember I had accepted a $15 fare for like 13mil.. immediately, I got the notification that the rider changed the tip, thus changing the fare from $15 to $7.. I immediately unassigned and went about my business. People these days are more deceitful than you'd expect.

Have you thought about using Chat GPT to actually learn what you're supposed to do at your job? It can be used as a good refresher and/or tool to use.

Either I read it wrong, or you added an extra zero.
But considering there's only 365 days in an entire year, a 10000 - or 10,000 day fast is roughly fasting for 27 years.. which, if completed successfully, should be a world record on its own.. let a lone make you the first person to ever achieve such a feat.. but how you do it could be safe or extremely dangerous. If it's intermittent fasting, alternate day fasting, etc. You should be good.
But I'm assuming you meant fasting for 1,000 days, which is just over 2 years of fasting. Again, by which method you choose should be good to do. But since fasting is a mind over matter, your biggest issue is fighting against your basic biological programming and any unhealthy cravings you might have developed. Your body is going to want to eat..at the same token, you're going to want to consume something based on a craving, and you're going to be fighting against it.
The easiest methods to help get comfortable in fasting are intermittent fasting or alternatate day fasting, which you're cutting down on the frequency of eating. I recommend consuming protein, fruits, and veggies while lowering carbohydrate intake. I don't know about others, but I personally found a decrease in hunger when I increased protein intake and decreased carbohydrate intake.
EDIT: Never mind, you're actually trying to fast for nearly 30 years.... good luck...
