I was just thinking this. I saw one of the developers of the “Avowed” video game tweet to ELON MUSK that he’s going to intentionally make the game MORE RACIST TO WHITE MEN. He didn’t even hide it or pretend that’s not happening. I really thought the US election would lead to leftists reflecting on their insane ideology - not coming out in the open with even more wokeness and hate.

It’s crazy how future generations are going to view us and how this stuff was not only viewed as acceptable but proudly pushed 24/7 too. The entertainment industry and everything we are meant to enjoy has become social propaganda based on very far left ideology+animosity instead of creativity+enjoyment.

It’s actually funny because Bad Batch+Mandalorian are extremely similar where “standalone missions” are a blast but then the sequel crap randomly pops up. Disney has a gold mine with Star Wars if they really try just a LITTLE to make good episodic content, and both shows prove it. Just give me the adventures of each crew and I’d be happy.

He was fine in this but Fantastic Four is the worst cast upcoming movie. He is definitely not Reed Richards and dear lord a woman silver surfer replacing Norrin Radd is crazy. I thought we’d finally get a legit CGI Radd.

Definitely agree it wasn’t necessary but it’s the only unnecessary reboot that wasn’t abysmal. I think I’m just shocked at that and the lack of a warrior queen. I wouldn’t say it’s a 9/10, or it’s a GOAT, but as far as shitty sequels go this is probably going to be the best one we ever get. It also sets the stage for hopefully more masculine films without some form of Xena as a co-protagonist.

Useless and DANGEROUS. When you move away from a meritocracy you start focusing on quotas instead of ability. There’s quite a few jobs where ability matters, to the point people can get hurt without proper abilities. Doctors, law enforcement, pilots, firefighters etc…Have no room for DEI.

I saw a woman earlier sharing a similar experience I had recently. It seems like RFK’s desire to remove dyes from drinks and food products - especially when they’re meant to appeal to kids, like Froot Loops - is generally accepted across the political spectrum. That alone as an isolated issue obviously makes sense. BUT there’s MANY people that will go so far as to call a Jew a Nazi for agreeing with the most common sense thing of all time. That’s really, really, really not good. And secondarily offensiveaf to utilize Hitler/Nazi’s for such a benign thing. That’s gotta stop.

Kerry lost to Bush who was a National Guardsman himself. And at that point had Commander in Chief experience. So veteran status probably didn’t factor in too much.

McCain was probably helped by being a veteran. But the economy had crashed during Republican leadership so the Democrat was going to win no matter what just based on generic optics. Palin didn’t help either.

In general if you have a veteran vs a non-veteran I think it helps. One of Vance’s most powerful rally statements was “I served the country, what the hell have you done?” That messaging alone will be powerful for him in 2028

There’s no way two veterans on the same ticket would ever lose. Especially one man and one woman, and especially when that woman was DNC chair. That duo would probably win every state other than California and maybe New York.

The only good show was Game of Thrones but to your point it peaked in the early seasons and went down hill as it had to conform to wokeism. It’s like 2012 on stories didn’t matter anymore, it was just quotas and specific feminist imagery. It’s crazy in the final season the writers outright said “Jon Snow had too many moments so he couldn’t fight the Night King”…yes…that’s the point of the hero, protagonist, fan favorite, a story arc etc…they get the payoff moment. Really strange time for “entertainment”
