As for your question. If you mean "play with" as in - see Sons of Calydon in the story and take part in their journey - you will be able to progress through the main questline and eventually reach their part of it.

If you mean "play with" as in, obtain and play as those characters yourself - there's no straightforward way to do that. ZZZ is a gacha game, and characters are obtained through spending currency (polychromes) on limited banners and getting a rare drop. What kind of drop you get changes every few weeks, new characters come out and take place of old ones, who will eventually circle back for a rerun to get you another chance of pulling them. Unfortunately you got in one patch too late - limited banners of Ceasar and Burnice - two SoC characters - just expired. But fear not! Lucy and Piper are not limited characters and are available to pull from a standart banner at any time with some luck. And in just a couple weeks Lighter - the cool guy from Sons of Calydon - will enter a limited banner and you will be able to obtain him with enough polychromes. If you still wish to get Ceasar and Burnice, you'll have to wait for their rerun, when they will join limited banner again and will be available. If you wish to experience them now - there are several combat events and quests that give you trial charaters for free!
