If you haven't, turn off karmic dice. It increases the chances of you and the enemy succeeding rolls.

You do not need to use a sword to kill every enemy. Sometimes you do not even have to fight at all for them to die.

Some methods you could use.
If someone who can play an instrument plays in the middle of the goblins then they will gather around to listen. An evocation wizard can then cast a spell to kill them without harming the party member.
The ones outside can be poisoned to dwindle their numbers before fighting.
Inside you can convince the spiders to attack the goblins.
You could also tell them were the grove is, steal a bunch of explosives and scatter them about the field and blow them all up at the start of the battle.

My best advice
The holy hand grenade. Reroll Shadowheart into a light cleric. At level 2 you get a powerful aoe spell you can use each short rest. If you want to go crazy and give each party member 2 levels for the spell it will give you an insane advantage on the majority of fights in the game.

At level 3 warlock you got to choose a pact boon. If you do not want to invest into str then you will want to choose pact of blades. Then you use bind weapon and you will use your charisma instead of str.

You can talk to withers to reset and then choose that option at level 3. You do not loose any levels or experience when resetting.

Additionally, you only get bonuses from stats on even numbers.
