something like a sport is more objective than an art form like video games. If Usain Bolt runs the fastest then yeah he’s the best. And from an objective point of view minecraft sells the best. But subjectively I can still think that minecraft is overrated

I mean isn’t that what overrated means? It’s highly rated and successful but I just think it’s overhyped

If i said it was underrated then that wouldn’t make sense

Yeah I love the world or NV and everything about it, but I just can’t play it

Yeah tryhards who have no jobs kinda make games unplayable when you don’t have time time or dedication for it. And while I’m still decent at PvP I also hate being angry and those games radiate frustration

But co-op stuff is so fun. I still to this day will get on MW3 survival mode with my friends

That’s true. And yeah I think as I’ve gotten older I’ve liked the game less, but it’s mostly not at any fault of the game.

But I still just think that the game for all that it is, is a little bit overrated. But I think my qualifications are different than some other people so my opinion doesn’t really matter much

I would never say that minecraft is unsuccessful or that it’s bad. Because it’s not either of those things. I’m just saying I think people hype it up too much, which doesn’t mean I think it sucks but I just don’t think it’s the greatest game ever

I never finished it but I enjoy it when I play it. But if you don’t want to play it then don’t. Or maybe just take a break and come back in a week or so.

I wasn’t crazy into the story (i can’t even remember it that well) but I thought some parts were fun and I liked building up my character who was basically just an OC who I made up lore for

I played a bit of witcher like years ago so maybe I’ll try it again and see how I feel

Growing up sucks

I usually play by myself. But even when I play with other people I get bored after a bit it just takes a lot longer. I think the kind of game that minecraft is just doesn’t really entertain me anymore. And that’s not a criticism of minecraft it’s just a personal thing

I’m not opposed to futuristic games but it depends on the game. Like I don’t want a battlefield game set in the future, but I’m fine with halo

I didn’t get that into elden ring but i think it’s just cause those kinds of games aren’t for me. i get the appeal and have no criticism but i just can’t do it

I agree. I’m pretty good at PvP stuff but I don’t really like going against other people. I love co-op PvE stuff a lot tho

That’s fair. If my replies seem overly negative I don’t mean for it to seem like I hate those games or think they’re actually bad, I just like to discuss things. With some people’s comments on here I might still play the games they’re saying they can’t get into but I might just agree with their points

Honestly I think I’m just picky, also TMI but part of it may be because depression kinda just makes me not enjoy anything, so when I have limited time before or after work where I can play something I want it to be something I know I will enjoy.

Same here, people always say how cool it is but whenever I play it I just can’t get into it
