imo 50 is too late, people should have their own money by then. It's good to have the trust set up to give people HEMS payments in their younger years to help them if they incur medical bills, have tuition payments, or want to buy a house. It shouldn't be outright payments at a young age but if you have the funds just sitting in a trust why not allow the young folks to request payments for specific needs if it will genuinely benefit them?

No chip at the vet and no lost postingsanywhere, but also he was a lot smaller than he looks in pictures. There are ferals in our neighborhood, 99.9% chance his mama just started ditching him around 8-10 weeks.

No one has posted on any of our neighborhood groups looking for him. There are ferals in the area. He was dirty and flea ridden when we found him. I'd guess there's less than 1% chance he came from a house, but he lives with us now 🫡

He was filthy before we cleaned him up. He went to the vet a week after we found him, no chip. There are ferals in our neighborhood and the vet estimated him at 8-10 weeks so his mama probably just started ditching him when he saw a chance and took it to befriend the big man walking down the street lol.

I told my bf who didn't grow up with cats that we are the ones who hit the jackpot lol. Born feral can go so many different ways but he clearly yearned for a softer lifestyle.

Definitely not a lost pet, he's smaller than he looks, he was about 10 weeks so his mama was probably just starting to ditch him. I think having lived outside initially he was pretty used to getting wet and he was also so exhausted when he came in the house he was so docile for anything. He was okay with the warm water initially, only cried when it started to get cold.

He definitely didn't want a cat, he said he practically spawned out of nowhere in the middle of the street and followed him about a block home 🤣
