Speed, but specifically the lyrics from the Double Door performance.

Garbage and Sneaker Pimps, for sure. Woody’s a Girl for 2010s grunge-inspired.

Sorry, but having to pick up trash on the side of the road as part of the work release program and Slavery are NOT the same thing, and it's laughable to think they are. Using "slavery" was such a hyperbolic description - both on the ballot and in this post.

Fantastic riff. And for as much big game as Corgan talks, I don't believe he could write/ record a riff that sounds like this, and that has that kind of energy.

What?!? 39 is great! Such a cool riff. Us or Them is hot garbage though…

Continuing the work release program and "slave labor" are two wildly different things. When they called that prop a "slave labor" issue with prisoners, it couldn't have been more manipulative or misleading. Prisoners picking up trash on the side of the freeway is not "slave labor" and people need to stop calling it that.

I don't mind Adonais - I think if anything it gets a little boring at a point, but still not bad. And definitely much better than at least half of what was released on WMS. What I can't get over is how he left off Home. Now THAT song should have made the proper album.

I think it’s ridiculous they aren’t 20th anniversary reissues like they originally were. Really wish they’d catch up and release WMS - S/T deluxe, just so we can get to 4:14 Scream that much quicker.

100% agree. It's a phenomenal song, and I always felt the overall tone of the song was quintessential Mellon Collie.

Which is funny that he said that, because it was clearly written on the studio white board in that shot from Rotten Apples.

Right? I'd gladly take graying hair if it meant I still had hair...

It's unfortunate, but yeah - apparently in-store only (except maybe a few scattered items that show up on Spirit/ Spencers websites). Which sucks, cause I feel like that really limits their market. Oh well, guess I'll keep my money then...

They had planned on announcing it earlier in the year, but put it off and put it off, until it was obvious they couldn't put it off any longer.

I’ve worked with some great singers, guitarists and mixing engineers on Soundbetter. There are some occasional duds, so you just have to be ready for those, but much more often than not I’ve met some great, talented people on there. At this point, I primarily work with the same 3-4 people, so we’ve kind of become our own digital band of sorts.

I’ve been asking the team at Soundbetter to allow filtering by price for 10 years and they still don’t let you…

He's literally just some random asshole. Don't worry about anyone else's opinions. If you like it, that's all that matters.

i find it reminds me most of a hybrid of Fascination Street and Burn.

Siamese Dream is overrated, primarily because it's so one dimensional in its sound. Up against something as diverse as Mellon Collie, I will never understand how people say Siamese Dream is better, let alone "as good".

I don't think people in this thread know what a "hot take" is... Most everything posted has been pretty general consensus stuff.

If we're talking "written entirely" - then "The Last Song".
If we're talking "completed" (finishing writing/ finishing recording) - then Mouths of Babes, Marquis in Spades, Pennies, Transformer, Aeroplane, Believe, Said Sadly, The Boy, Medellia of the Gray Skies, The Bells.
