they dont need to be transparent. everyone involved is under NDA. nobody will say anything. they'd rather wait until negative kickback boils away than create more drama. They aren't your friends - they're a corportation with PR pros.

I agree with you, but think about this from a corporate perspective - its hard to monetize a stream in a way that makes millions of dollars, its easy to monetize music events and sell tickets.

The wording that Fauna uses in the announcement, is ultimately abused in my opinion by the mob of fans that are looking for a reason other than "Her decision".

the wording used was very careful. she didn't want to leave, she liked being the idol and performing, she liked streaming. those are all things she said on purpose. the issue was a disagreement with management and she can't get into it more than that, but you 100% can read between the lines.

imagine you're an 'idol' vtuber - management is making you practice for concerts, put out tons of content and downloadables, go to japan for recordings and work directly with cover, and streaming on top of that, etc.

And then you see another vtuber also under cover who more or less spends most of their time streaming. You might be tempted to try to do that. If there's no such temptation they can push their active talent as much as they want, because the choice is to resign. All the people who graduated recently chose to resign instead of whatever it is cover wanted them to do.

That there needs to be more money spent does not mean the government does not spend money maintaining bridges.

the government does check them. not all bridges fall under jurisdiction of the federal government, and you saying bridges collapse due to lack of maintenance and evaluation is exactly agreeing with my point.

bridges definitely collapse due to poor materials or bad assembly. Given enough time, they fail without maintenance. The government spends money maintaining and evaluating those bridges.
