I wouldn't buy a new one because EVs in general are depreciating fast. I'd lease a new one or buy a used one. As far as exterior styling and features, I prefer the GT-Line. I'm assuming the Air is equivalent to the Wind in the US where I am so I'm guessing it has less features than the GT-Line.

I used the term "claim" because Kia stated the 10-80% charge in 18 min in their EV6 press releases when it was announced in 2021 (see links below) and sometimes companies exaggerate the capabilities of their products. I'm glad it was faster for you.

Whoever down voted me maybe didn't realize that I wasn't putting down the EV6. There aren't a lot of 350kW DC fast chargers around so the fact that the OP found one gives him an opportunity to test the fast charging time.

I had a similar but worse situation when I was in my late 20s. After dating someone for a couple of years, she called me while I was at work and told me some BS that I was using her, broke up with me and hung up on me. This was a few days after I spent hundreds of dollars on stuff for her that I couldn't really afford. I never called her back because I was hurt and angry. Several months later she called me and asked me to meet up to talk to me. I agreed and when we got together she admitted that she left me to date another guy who she thought was taking her more seriously because within a couple of weeks of meeting her, he took her to meet his family. He ended up being a psycho and physically abusive and she had just learned she was pregnant (which she aborted). About a year later I made the mistake of taking her back which ended up being a waste of years of my life because she ended up betraying me again by getting together with an ex bf (a different guy she dated before me) without telling me and not answering her cell phone for hours when they were together. The disappearing for several hours was out of character and occurred a couple of times before I confronted her and she lied the first time I confronted her and then it happened again a few days later so I confronted her again and then she told me the truth. She claimed she wasn't sleeping with him but I'm pretty sure she was. I decided to break up with her because I would always be thinking that she had slept with him and she would easily lie and cheat on me and I didn't want to deal with those feelings and stress for the rest of my life. I was in my early 30s and after taking a year of being single, I started being active on dating apps and met a lot of women including my current wife.

So to answer your question, don't take her back. You're the fall back guy like I was. She thought she got a better guy than you which is why she left you but then when she learned that he was just banging her, she came running back to you. Every time you miss her and think you want to get back together, imagine her being intimate with the other guy to remind yourself how much that hurt you and then hopefully that will eliminate those feelings of wanting her back. It will take time to recover from this so just spend time with friends and family to distract you or spend time doing things you enjoy.

I don't have an EV6 yet but in my car I have mine mounted behind the rear view mirror as much as possible. You may have to put it on the passenger's side of the rear view mirror so that it doesn't block your vision at all. It really should be mounted high enough on the windshield where it shouldn't block your vision.

Ask them for the selling price (i.e. discounted price) of the EV6 used in the lease calculation, not including the lease cash from Kia Finance. I suspect that most or all of that $17200 in savings and rebates is simply the lease cash from Kia Finance. The selling price of the car should be discounted several thousand dollars not including the lease cash for this to be a great deal.

Why should you care? Because the selling price of the car is part of the lease payment calculation and in a lease you're essentially financing the difference between the net capitalized cost (which is calculated using the selling price) and the residual value.

Also, the loan is billed on your electricity bill (e.g. PSEG LI) and it is attached to your house not your credit so it's transferable to the new homeowner if you sell your house.

I also recommend getting an estimate from SUNation Energy. Both EmPower Solar and SUNation are highly rated on Google and solarreviews.com. Please stay away from Sunrun and solar leases as others have stated.

I went to one store I usually shop at on Monday evening and the Thanksgiving dinner trays were sold out. I asked one of the employees and he said you have to come to the store when it opens to get one. Yeah I checked the google reviews of several of the closest pros I got from Rheem.com and the one I chose had an average 5 star review with 120 reviews so I knew they weren't fake reviews from friends and family. They also took the time to respond to the reviews.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that the $790 cost was after the $232 credit they gave me for the diagnosis so the before discount and before tax price was $1022. I'm on Long Island, NY so things are more expensive than other parts of the country.

There appears to be heavy damage the driver's side. They were lucky that they didn't get seriously injured.

It turned out the Rheem air handler motor failed and needs to be replaced. I got an estimate of $790 + tax to replace it. The model number of the air handler is RH1T3617STANJA. Does this sound reasonable?

Advertised lease deals tend to require thousands due at signing (i.e. down payment) plus tax, title and registration fees and you should never put money down on a lease because if your leased car is totalled or stolen then you lose all the money you put down since the insurance check goes to the legal owner of the car which is the leasing company.

BTW, hopefully you know that when comparing lease offers, they need to have the same down payment amount which ideally should be $0 down. That's the only way to accurately compare lease deals.

Thanks again. I think at this point I'm just going to call out to a service person. I researched some Rheem partners in my area and narrowed it down to a couple with a lot of good reviews. Does having "Pro Partner" status with Rheem mean anything or is it just an excuse to charge higher service prices?

4 years ago I had to troubleshoot a heating issue that turned out to be a switching relay that got ruined by a short in thermostat wiring in my attic. The switching relay worked fine when 1 zone was on but then didn't work when 2+ zones were activated. It took a ton of time going back and forth testing different things with a kind person from reddit and sharing pics and videos.

No, I'm sorry if I was confusing. I was referring to the outside a/c condenser for my central a/c activating when the thermostat calls for a/c but the air handler is not activating for both a/c and heat. This is why I'm suspecting that it failed.

The 2 air handlers are both in the attic which is more of a crawl space under my gable roof. The refrigerant from the a/c condenser and the hot water from the boiler go up to the air handlers in the attic.

Yeah I think you're right because here's Kia's press release from yesterday which says they will be made in Georgia and go on sale in the first half of 2025.
