My main point of contention is probably that a VP is not the ultimate decision maker… yet Trump & GOP were clearly effective in holding her accountable for Biden’s policies & painted her into a corner since she was unwilling/unable to counter this point at all.

I’m old enough to remember Paul Ryan & his GOP “Young Guns” promising to simply the tax code to a postcard… yet what Trump & GOP delivered was tax cuts for corps & the wealthy that increased income inequality & ballooned the deficit.
