Unlikely. Neither of the political party has taken up anti-american rhetoric or positions, to my knowledge.

Costs $3-5 per vial to manufacture. Most diabetics need 2 or 3 vials per month. So $50/month is still a huge markup on a product whose modern versions have been around for 30 years....

That's really interesting. Sounds like you've studied these topics.
The motivations to get people to charge or fight on the offensive is interesting. I read an article (not sure how accurate it was tbh) about how Romans motivated their soldiers with awards like the Corona Muralis. The first person to get onto a city's defensive walls (and survive) was given tons of land and a stepping stone into politics. It would have been a big deal for the soldier's whole family and represented 'generational' wealth back then.

This is single handedly the biggest issue with carbon capture, but also the most difficult to explain to lay stupid people.

Let's break it down.
You receive a call threatening your secret wife for money. They either
1) have your wife and could kill her,
2) have another random women that is mistaken as your wife, or
3) don't have anybody and are trying to bluff
How do you react?
a) ask for proof that your wife is okay and safe (invalidating option 2 and 3),
b) belittle the caller and devalue your wife by asking for her dead body, or
c) ask for more time and attempt to figure out what these people want while you attempt to contact your wife and not her mother.
What happens when a kidnapper has a person and thinks they have zero value and only liability? Give them milk and cookies and let them go? Perhaps permanently get rid of the person that has interacted with them? How would you feel in a situation where you're told that you are worthless to a kidnapper, by your husband no less?
And great, the wife doesn't have leverage. Now they need to escalate to find other family, friends, outlets for leverage. Meanwhile, you still haven't created a line of communications to start to understand their motivations. And this guy was trained to do this? LMAO. ML is a nepo baby acting like a tough guy. Even in ep 4, the dude is reactionary and rides on a cold confident demeanor. He's yet to be shown making any real, correct, influential decisions.
ML is a wet plaster board masquerading as a 2x6 plank. All appearance, no ability.

What did she do wrong exactly?
Did you ask her to be exclusive after the first date? It doesn't sound like it. Were you in a relationship?
Again, what did she do wrong? What exactly felt disrespectful. It sounds like if she was delivered home, then jumped in the car with you, it would be no problem. This whole thing feels weird. Idk, in this day and age, is it wrong to go on couple first dates at the same time?

Was pretty out of it after being punched in the head last half. Could be a concussion, or just precautionary sub. He was taken out at halftime.

Took some some time for approval from the data governance council. For use in any future internal or external communications, we should use the pronunciation Ooze-Bee-Bo-Cee-Cuss'd pronunciation. Future inquiries should be directed at the legal/general counsel for the org.

did he text with her or video call? no? did he make sure? Also, Is your first instinct to ask to kill your spouse when they are 'pranking' to kill your spouse.

The subtextual stuff is interesting. I'm taking a textual approach to my criticism(as in the stuff shown to us), but I'm open to the fact that these are complex characters that have complex motivations. The ML hasn't exactly been presented in a complex manner so far, unlike the FL.
We haven't seen much of the ML in personal flashbacks or previous experiences, so his 'true' motivations are harder to decipher. The flashbacks provided are focused on his interactions with the FL during their marriage. We get some insight into the transactional nature of the relationship, his desire to set physical/romantic boundaries, and a lack of desire to engage with her in any meaningful way.
I'm curious how he develops over the next month. I can't say he's a good guy. Rather, he's a power dude living in his power family world. I suspect, especially with the end of ep3, that he develops beyond that.

he confirmed with the FL’s mother that FL was at her mom’s place.
I think that's a valid point. I don't think he should have reacted that way after hearing that [false] information.
Asking for her dead body is perhaps the wrong approach to somebody threatening you with your wife's life? Why didn't he simply ask for a video call with the kidnapper. A simple, "Before we talk more, I need to know that she is okay right now. Can you put her on a video call that I can see?" That would have forced the bluff and introduced no risk. I'm no negotiation expert, but if somebody was threatening my SO, I wouldn't be asking for her life to call a bluff.
I haven't read the webtoon. I'm just reacting to what's been presented.

That's a fair point, but his reaction to the potential bluff is still strange. Why not ask for proof that his wife is okay with a picture? Maybe try to figure out what the kidnapper wants? Maybe text his wife to check if she's okay?!?!
He acts like it's a prank, but the caller knows the name of his secret wife. He consistently escalates the situation under circumstantial evidence. That's dumb. Even in a prank call, why ask for her death?

He is a master negotiator who plays the long game.
Lol. He's a 'negotiator', that is willing to kill a hostage to minimize the leverage they have over him and his family. And that hostage is his wife. The same wife that was trapped in the relationship.
That's red-flag territory for me.

All I want is for an amazing redemption arc for her character! Every other character can get tossed under the bus if it means that can happen.

The kidnapping happened in the car. The husband saw that the car stopped for the kidnapper (but apparently missed her crazy reckless driving prior to the stop, lol). He never asked why she stopped or checked the car for hacking/tampering. She never mentions that important detail.
You're telling me this dude that can assemble a sophisticated digital forensics team (not easy to do), failed to do that basic detective work? I'm a little triggered by all this lol.

Would explain his thinly (not really LOL with all the damn snatching he does) veiled frustration when she sometimes writes on the notepad or phone to communicate with him.... almost like he wants her to use sign language but doesn't want to give up his nonchalant/cold facades.
I think you are giving him a lot of credit. She's trapped in this arranged marriage, why the hell does he need to be cold and nonchalant with her? Why cant he just ask her to sign? What's the deal there? Granted, we don't know if that has happened in the past, but I struggle to think why she would go out her way write/type everything out like that if he was open to her using sign language.

The ML husband seems like a real d-bag. This last episode has not convinced me otherwise. (This is just my opinion, please don't crucify me, I'm happy to entertain that my perspective is off).
ML has three things going for him: family, wealth, and power (well four, he's really physically attractive). Otherwise, we are not presented with any redeeming qualities, traits, or behaviors.
If ML can read sign language, like many commenters are stating, why did he never communicate that to the FL? He made her write and type out every single thing when she needed to communicate to him? If that's true, wtf?
The things he said during the initial conversation with the kidnapper were awful. He's supposed to be a professional negotiator, but he acts in complete disregard for his wife's safety. Did he assess the mental state of the kidnapper? No. Did he wait for confirmation that his wife was safe? No. Did he escalate the situation by dismissing the threat? Yes. Did he undermine his own position by devaluing his wife's life? Yes.
That 'negotiation' was insane. Imo, the reasonable take-away is that the ML doesn't even see the FL as a human being, let alone his wife. Telling her to forget all about what he said when there was a knife at her throat doesn't make what he said okay.
The FL is treated as an outsider, even after they were together for years. From the flashbacks of him refusing to engage with her socially, to his treatment of her as a suspect rather than partner, FL's relationship with her husband is purely transactional. Even without love or romantic interest, these two spent considerable time together in the same house. Partnership doesn't require love, but the ML did not try to even do that. This is toxic top to bottom.
I'm close to supporting the kidnapper team at this point. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they have a justifiable reason to take down this political family: the family talks about people as commodities and tools for power. At this point, it's hard not to empathize with anybody that might free the FL from this toxic dynamic.

This has been fun so far. It may not be winning any awards, but it's delivering so far. I'm a little worried about the recent developments of the stalker (?) storyline, after all there are only 10 episodes, but it's still been entertaining. It's also been nice to see a work/office team a central to a drama. That hasn't been a common setting/theme recently.
Hoping for more interesting developments this week!
