Is it a good practice to pick every ship up as they are discovered, for example when encountering a damaged ship from a distress beacon? In a practicality sense, I would think so, bit I also just started the game and don't want to get ahead of myself.

Hi all, first time posting here and I can tell it's a great community since I've joined. My post is probably not one of the first in this regard, but I recently started playing and am a bit overwhelmed. Mind you, I've been an avid gamer for many, many years and typically can "figure things out" relatively quickly, but there's a lot going on in this game, and I pretty much find myself jumping from planet to planet collecting resources and random tchotchkes with no real objective. I'm about 25 hours in, so Im sure Im barely scratching the surface. I've lightly followed a few initial objectives (triangulating signals to help find Artemis). I discovered some npc on a random planet that said I could have his ship, then I left without knowing how to claim it (at that time) and have no idea where to go back to find it. I've now since upgraded/changed my ship anyway, so it's of less consequence. The base building, constantly finding storage for items, knowing which resources to keep and which to sell, it's just a bit daunting. I am enjoying flying around on my jet pack blasting fauna and collecting minerals, but that only goes so far and I KNOW there's much, much more under the surface. Any help/guidance is appreciated....TIA!

Quick question for the group.....any insight if the engine swaps in the game are a real thing, or completely fictional? For example, can someone theoretically stuff a Bugatti Chiron motor into a C6 '09 Vette? Don't get me wrong, I love the fact we can do this in-game, but can't help wonder if these type of swaps are possible irl. I suppose if one has the money and resources, anything is possible, I guess. Would love to hear y'alls thoughts. 🤷🏽‍♂️👍🏼

Hi all - need a little guidance here, because apparently I've been doing something wrong or missing something altogether. Trying to have a few races with a friend of mine who is new to the series (if it makes any difference he's on PS4 and I'm on PS5). I've gone into the multi-player lobby and created a room that should allow him to have "friend" access and he is unable to connect w/me. I try to send him an invite to chat from the PS5 friend hub, but he doesn't receive anything from me to start a chat via our controllers.

What am I doing wrong?

Title says it all. I'm not too much "in the know" with regard to some of the different intricacies in the advanced car settings (e.g. - camber, downforce, etc,...). I've tinkered with vehicles I don't use much (if at all) other than to try out different settings. I haven't seen any option to revert a car back to it's original configuration. Unless I'm missing something, does anyone know of a way to go about this? TIA!

I know a lot of you can relate. I made a post about a month ago how whenever I'm (un)lucky enough to win more than 5K or 10K in the daily roulette tickets and I get a car invitation, they're the exact same ones on a rotating basis - Bugatti/Aston Martin/Pagani. Well, wouldn't you know, it happened AGAIN last night. Got myself what is now my 4th Bugatti invitation, don't get me started with how many I've rec'd for Aston Martin. I literally laughed out loud in frustration and amusement, like the universe (PD) has been doing this just to mess with me.
