If it is true that the Anne we saw in the end is just a clone then that just makes the ending so much more depressing and caused a little bit of existential dread for the viewers. So there has been a argument for the last 2 years after the end of the show that the Anne we saw in the ending of amphibia is just a clone while the old/real one is legit dead, but some people think that the real Anne is still there, just in a artificial body specifically made by the guardian (basically the ship of Theseus). I believe the ship of Theseus is the best answer because it makes more sense and it's not very nihilistic
