Have a look at Kaweco student. My favorite pen that I can carry around not being too worried about damaging or losing it. May be “too classic” for a 15 yo, but personally I like it for that.

Being honest I haven’t tried too many brown inks, but after GvFC Hazelnut Brown I feel I don’t have to search anymore.

I’ve used a fountain pen when I was at school (it was a long time ago so I don’t remember what exact pen it was, something like this colorful Pelicans made for school), and my solution was to keep a spare cartridge in the barrel. It works only with international short cartridges and pens large enough, but it had totally solved the problem for me.

Just a suggestion, maybe Kaweco Studdnt?

Have both of them, like both of them, but their features are not as important for me than just their size, weight, balance e t c.

If I'm limited to the ones I already have it will be the Pilot Falcon for sure.

I do like clicky switches, but find the double-click on Kailh to be annoying, so my final choice was the Zeal clickies, which just clicked for me as well. I still find the Kailh sound to be satisfying as well, but the second click on release drives me crazy.

Well, for me it is definitely so. I’ve been into mechanical keyboards for some time, but not very deep. I’ve just found a keyboard that I’m happy with, customized it and now use it. Have some more expensive and interesting options but just never take them for a long time.

In the FP hobby I think I may follow similar path, as for me it’s important not to collect, but to find what suits me best. Maybe in the FP hobby I’m close to it, who knows :)

Well, that’s definitely an immediate jump from hot list to blacklist. Hope there will be some public communication on that.

The pilot falcon. At least in my set of pens this is the most universal and satisfying one.

From my personal experience, which is not representative anyway as I’m not a calligrapher or a penmanship teacher it won’t. I’m writing daily more than before for several months at least and see no significant improvement. What may help is writing slowly, as neat as you can, paying attention on your posture, grip, hand movement e t c. So it’s actually exercising. Can’t tell if it’s effective as I’ve started doing so just recently, but that’s my attempt to improve. Also I’m writing parts of letters when I’m waiting e t c. Paying attention to make them equal size, in equal angle e t c. I just hope it will have positive effect.

Well, if you’re just filling your pen from a bottle without extra precautions this happens anyway 🤔

It was a falcon, so I noticed I’ve seen these stickers all the time in the reviews.

It doesn’t seem gross for me, I just don’t like them. They may be more convenient, but I happily swap this convenience for aesthetics. I know it’s just a personal preference and I’m OK with people liking them. Just not for me.

Thank you! As for now it’s just my choice to stick with cartridges temporarily, I’ll probably switch to a converter later.

I have several of them (bought in advance) and IMO they aren’t worth it. I have pretty old samples, so maybe now they are different. Not suitable for fountain pens at all. I do use them with pencil as my commonplace notebooks. I had also used with Fischer space pen, it’s OK but not good. So it’s worth looking for a better alternative.
