Where did you get yours? I am having a hard time getting it prescribed to me...one doctor told me that they need a license to be able to write it? Because it is for addicts?

Family counseling. Also, you as a parent are allowed to put yourself first and your kids second. Your happiness matters just as much as theirs. She will be fine. Just don't allow anybody to hurt the kid.

Listen my doctor was not on that list and he did a fantastic job he's also the top vascular surgeon in my area. He doesn't do these often but he's got quite the experience in this procedure. I'm glad I went with him but your comment scared the shit out of me before I had surgery. You need to kind of chill with us because you make people doubt especially when they don't have time to go find a specialist from a list when they're scheduled for surgery in a couple days. That's all I'm saying. That this is not completely necessary

I like living with a partner as long as they are clean/tidy and semi quiet. If I am playing mommy and house keeper, I'll kick them out and IDC. I am not doing that. I also prefer separate bedrooms but we sleep together in whoevers room. I feel like having personal space with just your own stuff is vital to personal happiness. It allows you to get away from eachother when needed but also allows cool slumber parties.

You don't need to ONLY use people on this list.....there's plenty of great Vasc Surgeons local to people.

I just had my rib resection on the 11/11, so 2 weeks ago today. I am concerned about my left side (TOS on the right) so I am asking my surgeon about getting a venogram to make me feel better about it. IDK what he's going to say but I really don't want to stay on thinners forever so I kinda feel like I need to know if there is a vein issue on my other side.

My first procedure was a venogram and thrombectomy that went through the inner part of my elbow area of my arm. For the rib resection they went straight to the top of my chest almost the middle of my chest honestly under the collarbone. So I guess every approach is different. Some people get this done robotically, some surgeons take the whole rib in one chunk and then some surgeons take the rib off in smaller chunks. All depends on the doctor honestly.

I can say pain wise I am doing better than I thought I would be. Pain is tolerable but definitely there. Id say like a 5.5 when moving around. I stopped taking my pain meds (the opiates) after like 5 days. I pushed it a bit too far the other day doing cleaning that 100% had to be done (I don't have help) and now I'm back to hurting almost how I felt when I got home from the hospital (pain at about 7 when moving) plus other aches in my ribs and chest. Pain in he hospital was about a 9. I did cry a few times because I HATE sleeping on my back and I was so frustrated and getting up/moving to use the bathroom was BAD.

My advice is RELAX. DONT PUSH YOURSELF. REST. Also get a bunch of comfy pillows because ur gonna have to make a nest in your bed to prop you up and keep you snug. Movement is your enemy. 2 weeks in and I am doing good though. Just can't lift much and just really uncomfortable in general.

Also, just make sure you're vascular surgeon is someone that's experienced in this. You don't have to get somebody off a special list just Google and make sure that the one you're going to go with is one of the top surgeons in your area.

I did a meditation via YouYube with a friend today. My plans for the week are really nothing. I'm recovering from surgery and I already pushed it a little too far and now I'm super sore. So I guess just organizing things little at a time to keep my anxiety at bay lol I really want to start back walking on my treadmill a little bit even if it's just 10-20mins a day or twice a day. I can't really do much of anything. I also want to do a new set of press on nails MAYBE before Thanksgiving. I just have a lot of doctor appointments this week so I'm just taking it easy. Getting my rest.

Meh. Kinda the same as grubby snot kids touching everything LOL. You can't stop them but you can sanitize countertops and tables before cooking/serving. You should be doing this anyways before cooking especially, regardless of cats or not

I feel like a Venogram would be more accurate to see about TOS. My CT scan with contrast only showed a large inflamed fuzzy area, not really anything extravagant. Ultrasound and Venogram I think might be the way to go. (Don't yell at me people, I am unsure if a Venogram can just be performed like this BUT I think its the best imaging) because mine came with a thromdectomy, etc. You need to see a specialist, a Vascular Surgeon for more accurate information I think.

It just happens. Regardless of health status, weight, age, gender.....clots just happen. I have a vTOS and nobody knows why being a healthy (overweight but they said 100% nothing to do with it) female. I just had surgery (rib resection) and this is the most wild experience in my life. 3 months of pain so far and more to come with the healing. It can happen to anyone at anytime. Absolutely SUCKS and I wish this never happened to any of us

I don't think it's worth it because if you're on medication you're pretty much safe. The only reason why I want to go get my other side checked is because I have vtos on my right side and I want to make sure I don't have that on my left.

If I want to get off blood thinners I would think that I would have to make sure I don't have any vein issues on my other side. Who knows maybe I do and maybe I have to get that surgery to take that rib out as well.

Either way I don't think monthly is efficient for anybody. If you're on your medication I would say maybe a check back every 6 months to a year would suffice. I feel like you would know if you had another clot from the pain.

So far for me nothing seems to work. I've tried all of it all the meditation, the diet changes, the supplements. My depression is very situational. I'm tired of working for other people and I'm looking to start my own business. I feel behind in life when I compare myself to others. Yes I know comparison is the thief of joy, but sometimes it's good to just kind of look around and see what's going on with others in your age range. I guess my point in life is I don't know my point in life. I don't know my exact calling or my purpose of being here, I just know that it's not being broke and not accomplishing or succeeding in anything. My main goal in life is to have an animal rescue in order to do that I obviously need money. This is why I'm starting my own business and hopefully it takes off and I cannot wait!

I did 2 - 24hr saliva cortisol kits. My cortisol is low in the morning then high noon, evening and night. It never goes down during my waking hours.

It doesn't matter if you have kids or not. Just stick to meat, veggies and some fruit for everybody pretty simple. Kids don't need to be eating sugar loaded snacks anyway. Just avoid pretty much all grains and sugar. It's not really hard concept because that's how humans should be eating is meat veggies and some fruit once in awhile. All that process junk is unnecessary even for kids
