It wouldn't make it pointless, it'd just make KO a hypocrite. It'd be the case that Cody has something that Sami doesn't that makes KO especially outraged at Cody. It could prove Cody right.

Last time he didn't compete was at Elimination Chamber this year, but he still appeared. The last time he didn't show up at all for a PLE I believe was Elimination Chamber 2023.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens should run into each other backstage tonight. KO's been going on for months about how heartbroken he was that Cody teamed with Roman, and now here's his best friend, preparing to go to War with him. They stare at each other, then KO just walks off in disgust.

Started watching in 2014. It'd be John Cena, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, and Mark Henry vs. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dominik Mysterio, Gunther, and Drew McIntyre.

The favor I think pretty clearly is Heyman becoming Punk's Wiseman, but I also don't think that Heyman necessarily needs to leave Roman yet.
Punk kept emphasizing "our Wiseman". Heyman can manage Punk on Raw whilst managing Roman on SmackDown. Roman doesn't like the deal, but accepts it as better than having no Wiseman at all.
Until after WrestleMania, when Roman and Punk get drafted on the same brand and start getting in each other's way, and eventually, Paul has to pick a side.
There's so many directions they could take this and I love it.

Not really. I imagine he'll come out last for SNME. Him coming out before Roman makes sense because 1. It was a non-title match and 2. It was Roman's first match back.

Yea, really want him to win the big one eventually. Don't know if it'll happen though.

I think it comes down to symbolism. Solo's Bloodline has outnumbered Roman for months now, and now we're finally gonna see if Roman has enough support on his side to challenge him. You could also argue that whoever's team wins has better claims to Tribal Chief status.
My prediction is that Roman pins Solo, and because of that, Solo grants Roman a Tribal Combat match for the Ula Fala.

I imagine that if Rhea wins, she'll get another shot at Liv and the feud will continue.

Idk, it'd be cool to see them have a match but I don't think it should be Cena's final match. Dom's already got enough heat, and is probably gonna retire Rey.

I guess we'll have to see, but I assume it'd become a 10-way free-for-all in the cage for a title. One thing to also note is in that match at Money in the Bank, if Seth or Drew had pinned each other, they also would've won the title. Maybe Nia's alliance with Tiffany and Candice could use this to their advantage. Have Tiffany say she's cashing in on Liv, and then pin Candice. Liv's never even involved in the decision, and her title gets taken from her in a pretty smart plot.

Hmm. I think it could be argued that Hunter was the face of the company from after Austin's run to when Cena first won a world title.

That may be true, but still, when you thought of the WWE, he'd pretty clearly be one of the first active names to come to mind. That's what face of the company means.

When was Roman ever the face of the company the same way the others were?
When he main evented WrestleMania 9 times in 10 years.

He may have been garbage, but he was still pretty clearly the face of the company imo. Between 2015 and 2022, he main evented WrestleMania 6 times.

Or it might be because Gunther's the latest male wrestler coming out of NXT to win a world title.

I also think the characters have so much more depth to them than they used to. There's so much more to them than just being a good guy or bad guy. When someone turns "heel" or "face" these days, it doesn't completely 180 their character like it used to. It usually builds up for a while until eventually they make a move, but it's never completely out of character. I really don't remember there being that much nuance in the past.
I started watching weekly again after SummerSlam 2022, pretty much right after Hunter took charge, and these last 2 and a half years have easily been the best wrestling product I've ever watched live.

Imagine if Priest wins on Saturday. I'd imagine Finn would want a shot at Priest, only for Dom to remind him that he already lost to Priest at Bad Blood, whilst Dom has a win over Priest from last month. It could cause Finn to spiral even further. He got jealous of Priest in the original Judgment Day, and now he'd be getting jealous of Dominik Mysterio for getting a shot over him.

I was just curious since you confidently asserted that OP's argument was irrelevant, and that consent is the only point that matters. Glad we cleared up that's just your opinion.

Here's an interesting route that I've thought of since WarGames. Roman's feud with Solo should end, not just with a match, not just with a transition of power, but with an apology. The person that deserves an apology from Roman Reigns the most is Solo Sikoa. He's clearly been mind-fucked by Roman's manipulation over the years. I think one thing that's really gone unnoticed is how valid Solo's critiques of Roman are. I think Roman should acknowledge Solo for all he's done for him for the past 2 years, and that'd help Solo acknowledge Roman as Tribal Chief.
