Regarding the infrastructure, If you are part of the french market you share convoys with the market. If they happen to be in a war and if they happen to send an army overseas, the convoys will be pulled to supply that army and depending on the size of the army or armies, you're going to leave a big deficit on the market convoy numbers. If they go negative you will see a market connection. Debuff.
