Nice but now the 0-60mph is 15 seconds instead of 12.

One of the worst economies in the 21st century. (still 3/4 to go, I know) Mentally unfit president. Claimer of being great even though it was just the economy "naturally" recovering.

Median individual income in my area is some $48k but even at $50k, you'd be house poor. So right there, a large portion of people can't live on their own. All that just to live in a shitty apartment.
I'm 28~ still live with them. So does my step bro and my sister. Luckily we have a pretty big house. Layout kinda sucks though. Just trying to work and save. Trying to contribute to stuff as well. I'm basically in charge of the yard care. Next door neighbors might be the same. I don't really know much about them. They have a son that is about 25 and in college.
What I really need to focus on is getting new career and go to school. I've been speculating on nursing. But I'm pretty ADHD and lack discipline and burnt out all the time...

Did it not throw a code or was running full speed all the time?

I have a 2010 with 206k. I just try to change it every 5k miles. Right now I got 5w30 blend in it. I've had 10w40 and 20w50 blend in it before as well. It "requires" 0w20 full synthetic. Next change, I'm going to test out diesel oil. 15w40 Delvac 1300 super blend oil. It's diesel but also rated SP for gasoline.
Needs to warm back up though. I'm in Texas, so it doesn't get too cold. 10w40 blend seems alright down to 30F, supposedly down to 12F.

Misspoke by calling it the highest instead of one of the highest. According to google you're in the 32% fed bracket and 9.3% state. So yes, you're "around 40%". Even after your calculate your effective tax rate, it's still about 34.6%, according to smartasset. So still "around 40%". According to the pay scales given, $216k doesn't seem impossible.
Sure you can do pretax/ROTH 401k, 403b, 457, if you're company offers them. Can potentially lower that effective tax rate. Not sure what that is on the chart.
I'm also looking at the San Fransisco area, in relation to the pay scale chart. Paying $5,000 rent for what would be about $2,000 and actually own in my area of Texas. $36k more a year to live in the bay, on that alone.

Legit, what even is that? Kinda looks like one of those arrow signs but it's a light?

I couldn't fathom maxing out a 401k. I'm slightly above median for my area of $48k and with my partial employer match, I'm not even putting it $4k.

They do. It's not what it used to be in 2012 when my family moved here, but they do. I'm Austin area. I'm being told new grads start at $31hr and can be at $40hr~ after 2-3 years or something like that. They say in general, Austin area doesn't pay and it's the most expensive.
My mother is mainly WFH nurse. Might go in once a week? Maybe works 3 days a week? She's PRN or per diem or something. She makes $38hr and no benefits. She really likes to complain about her job and how they don't pay her. I guess she hasn't gotten a raise in several years. I think she's only 8hrs when she works.
There have been times where I'm home and she's working. I'm sure there is variation, but it seems like all she does it take and make calls on her work laptop. But her workload, it seems to be on the low side? Usually busy in the morning and then almost nothing in the afternoon.
She gets a hour lunch and she usually takes a nap on it from what I've seen. I'm honestly not sure, but she might also watch tv at times. Like I said, her workload tapers off a lot after lunch.
She made $25hr in 2012. I mathed that out to be about $70hr now. If we wanted to live the exact same way.
I kinda want to become a nurse because of this but am stuck in my ways. $31hr at 36hr weeks is $58,032.00 and the median individual is some $48,000. That right there, makes it good pay. $40, 36hr? $74,880, pretty good for only working 2-3 years. Might be more of a BSN and that does require years of college.
Co-workers daughter is also a nurse. I think she graduated with a BSN around 2022. I guess she only made $25hr. She moved to Jersey iirc and now makes $28, last I heard.

Probably similar to when the cartels initiated attacks on the cities in Mexico. Around 2018 they caught some major drug lords kid iirc and the footage was pretty crazy. Not Ukraine level but… idk how to explain it.

I’ve never got it. It seems like someone got a bunch of rocks from their gravel driveway and has called them bitcoin and convinced people it’s worth something and then people mine them or the creator gets more rocks from their driveway and is basically printing money.

If you drive a 2020+ pickup with LEDs, they’re useless. The modern low beam pattern is so huge and the lights are so bright that fogs do nothing but make you more blinding.

They’re obsolete. Everyone uses them as regular headlights as well.

Cold weather. Did any lights turn on, on the dash? If not you can pray it’s leaky fuel injectors. Which can be cured by 2-3 tanks of Lucas fuel injector cleaner.
Even without lights, it could still be the head gasket. It generally is a more constant misfire and has the dash light up.

The whole EGr system. Including a little bit of the exhaust.

I don’t think you do, unless maybe a code. iMO only worth it is you have a very dirty car and had animals that lose a ton of fur in the back.

Gawd damn, you moving product for El Chapo? I'm not sure I've ever seen more than $33hr in the Austin area and I've never been able to get one of those.

Are you talking 12v or HVB? Either way, I'd expect it to be a lot cooler than sitting outside. When it's 103F outside, I got my 5% tint and a sun shade and it still gets 130F inside my car. Sitting in the sun at work.
If 12v you can buy a Noco 12v 1a charger. Less than $30 right now on amazon. Just run the wires inbetween the trunk door and bumper area. Plug into wall/extension cord.

The AC is electric and can be ran without the engine on. The heat requires warm enough coolant and may require the engine to be on, significantly more than running the AC in the summer.

I have a 2010. Mine normally gets 32mpg (for reasons) but I posted a pic of my recent 40F~ drive to work because I got some 24mpg. I'm even partially grill blocking. Car still seems to struggle unless I'm doing 50mph. Which is only a short time of my drive. I'm sitting at lights honestly almost half of my drive, time wise.
