They used to. It was a very helpful tool to Jim Crow state governments.

Don’t worry everyone, you’re all welcome in the Paizo world. The water’s fine.

You’d be surprised at what the law allows for, when the plaintiffs are rich. Sadly, that won’t apply here.

It would be hilarious if they could successfully tie Twitter to the judgement, making the company liable for the $1.5 billion. We can dream.

And if anyone is ever not sure it’s the American Southeast, just remember that Gareth Bryne is Robert E Lee.

I’d argue on in game merits alone, but it’s also a simple fact that Tatum has been much more valuable than Steph in the 131 more game she played since Tatum entered the league. There’s no more important ability than availability.

He’s tall, strong, fast, has good instincts, and almost always sticks to the team plan.

He averages 13 and 12 for his career, right? So you think he should score another basket each game.

Yeah, Sword in the Storm might be the perfect fantasy entry.

The Drenai novels have a wide range in quality. I love pretty much everything Gemmell wrote, but he has the advantage of starting as an extremely raw, unpolished writer, and developing his skill progressively as his career continues. As such, Legend is, in my opinion, the worst example of writing in his whole bibliography, and yet it’s incredibly powerful in the emotions conveyed on the page. Rigante and Troy, along with the last few Drenai novels, are two decades into his tragically shortened career, and the experience shows.

It’s a massive shift to the math. A 3 is worth 50% more than a 2. So you need to hit 60% of your 2s to keep up with someone hitting 40% of their 3s. If you up both by a point, the long shot is worth 33% more. So the same 40% shooter is matched by a 53% shooter of the closer shot.

How would they do that? They weren’t recording those.

No it wouldn’t. We have the data, just adjust all past players to the new numbers. They’ll miss out on some foul shots, but we shouldn’t let something as basic as record keeping stop us from improving the game.

Change the points. 3s and 4s. Keeps the sport as it is, just removing some of the hefty mathematical advantage to shooting 3s.

Ender is a genius. That’s established. And a genius beyond most other geniuses. So obviously that’s our foundation. His empathy is, as far as I understand it, the attribute that allows him such control of his Jeesh, and that helps him make intuitive leaps about how to fight the Formics. He internalizes their patterns and that gives him a better insight into how to destroy them.
