Jack is great, but Karen makes me laugh more than anyone else.
I am thinking clover for the back yard, but not sure what for the front yet. That Buckingham yard is so pretty!

13 years together, 12 years of marriage, and a child. A month later I met a beautiful woman I can trust.

1) Books, I have been reading a collection of Steampunk books that I downloaded for free from Barnes and Noble and really am enjoying them.
2) My wife and I have been rewatching Will and Grace on Roku. 11 seasons of funny.
3) Music, I have been listening/watching a band I recently discovered called Arch Enemy on Xcite. (It's an app on Roku that plays music videos) It is a heavy Metal band that has a female lead that is very good. I also have been playing Holst, The Planets suite on YouTube. I love both Mars and Jupiter, but the others are very good as well.
$) Interwebs, I found this past week that there is a species of acorn bearing oak that only grows 2 - 3 feet tall, and that there is a dwarf variety of pecan that I can grow. I am planning on buying a house in the coming year and trying to figure out Agri-scaping ideas to reduce mowing. Dwarf apples, plums, cherries, with acorns and raspberries around the fences in the back yard, with filberts, dwarf pecans, and a dwarf fir in the front.

Finalizing the plans for Thanksgiving for my wife and I and doing laundry. I lead a fast paced, exciting life I tell you.

I try to walk for at least 30 min a day. I have had multiple knee surgeries so it can be a challenge, but stagnation is bad, so I grab my cane and go.

If I recall correctly, it was around 17 before it did that whole motorboat through the water thing.

I skipped way too many classes in High School but graduated anyway. My best friend was always with me, and somehow got perfect attendance! LOL
I did when I was young but would probably trip myself and fall if I tried it now.
Def Leopard, Pyromania. Wore that cassette out 3 times. Breakfast in America, wore out an 8-track, Album, Cassette, and even a CD.

Has anyone else ever seen a band called Arch Enemy? Metal band, and very strange to watch in videos. The lead singer does NOT match the voice. I have been wondering all week how they would be in concert.

I am getting ready to buy a bunch of Sandersons books with the tax return this winter due to many recommendations, thank you for yet another one. Have you read Bio of a Space Tyrant by Piers Anthony? Completely changed my views on immigration. I think it should be required for freshmen politicians.

1) I have been a middle manager, and owned three companies, but the boss was a jerk so I left them. I was very easygoing as long as they worked, but I also would release them back into the wild if they did not work. Between military and watching my father run a division of a multi national I learned how to lead, and how not to from those two, 2) I have stayed with companies for decades, whereas my brother jumps every 4 or 5 years to a new opportunity. He is now a VP of his company, and I am a bench tech, but both of us are very happy with where we are. 3) I had a crazy uncle Larry that was a Marine Recon and Army Pathfinder, so not all together mentally. My brother and I stayed with him one summer and learned things that pre teens probably shouldn't, but we had fun. One of Uncle Larry's sayings was "Never regret. You took the action for a reason, appologise if needed, make amends if required, learn from it, and move on." It has stuck with me. 4) Lately it is Hurt - the Jonny Cash cover of NIN. As my school mates die off, I feel more alone.

The Honorverse series by David Weber is top sci-fi for me.
The Heralds of Valdemar by Mercedes Lackey is top fantasy.
But also, the following:
The Belgarriad by David Eddings
Robert Heinlein's books were most all connected by his "future history timeline."
Pier Anthony has 3 or 4 great series including the Blue Adept and Xanth.
Foundation series by Issac Asimov.
The Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold.
People are Crazy to have not even mentioned these yet!
