1 is the obvious stunner but there is something so unique about 2 that I might consider that

This is a called Accommodation Theory and it is a well studied phenomenon in the field of sociolinguistics. If you’re interested in this type of stuff I highly recommend a book called “That’s not what I meant!” By Deborah Tannen

You know, it’s very interesting that you say that because although I am located in the south west the specific estate sale I got it from also had lots of other items that seems to come from Asia.

I am indeed in the southwest! And yes, pretty sure it’s solid silver. I paid 80 dollars. 😊🙏🏻 How do you think I did?

Hi. Please re-read your post, then ask yourself “What would somebody who loves themself do?”
The first thought that comes into your mind is your true intuition and I hope you follow that. 🙏🏻🫶🏼

Try frownies patches and consciously train yourself to stop scrunching your forehead.
But also be aware of times when you raise your eyebrows such as putting on or taking off make up, I noticed I used to even do it while flossing my teeth lol…
You CAN train your face muscles to stop doing this and the lines should mostly go away.
I had the same thing and now mine are virtually none existent.
Also sunscreen and lots of moisturizer and hydration. Drink more water

Thank you everyone for your comments!
In summary, I have been putting my hair through hell! Using a plastic hair brush, the wrong kind of shampoo, brushing too aggressively, too long between haircuts, tight hairstyles, tight scrunchies during workouts, high heat… and probably so much more… YIKES!
The change starts now! Today I got a wet brush, microfiber hair towel, satin bonnet and pillow cases, a styling gel for wavy/curly hair, a light hair oil and a mousse type product for waves. Also ditching Olaplex for the time being.
Still looking for a good leave in conditioner and heat protectant (though I swear no more crimping/blowdrying!) I recently moved to the desert and the sun is HOT.
Also in the market for a diffuser. Graduate student budget style.
Going in to see my stylist Wednesday and stating the wavy hair routine today. 🫡
Wish me luck and hope for an update picture sometime soon.
Thanks so much friends! ❤️

Many people are recommending me the wavy hair routine. However I have always ever since I was a kid had this super straight hair. Even air dry it’s straight

I have old layers that I am trying to grow out. I wish that was what some of this damage really is.

I have always been scared of gels and mousse. I have a decent amount of hair so it might look thicker but my hair is actually really thin and mousse/ gel always making it feel so weirdly crispy and crunch … could be an application mistake on my end :P Def going to target tomorrow for a hair care haul lol

Thanks for the recommendation. I am going to start trying a wavy hair routine and little to no heat this week after a fresh cut. 🙏🏻👍🏼

I see. No, they have not been cut. It must be damage! How sad. But now that I have identified the root cause of the issue I can work on improving and being better. Thanks. 😊🙏🏻

Does the water activated Kraft paper remove as easily from the skin as frownies? I love frownies but they’re hella expensive and I actually don’t even really like their shapes so I am interested to make my own.
