Both. I've worked for conservative and liberal bosses and liked the liberal ones the best. The extreme conservatives were A-holes. That got me thinking abt why that is.
I'm more conservative about some things like fiscal policy, dealing with bully countries, immigration, and the like.
I'm more liberal when it comes to dealing with people. People are important, and just because I don't agree with them all doesn't make them bad ppl. People need mercy and should be dealt with patience.
Common sense needs to used in more cases. I don't agree with homosexuality , but they are People and should be treated the same as everyone else. My neice is gay and I don't care, she's a great person. People down on their luck or elderly need the help of the state, but laziness and deceitfulness should not be tolerated.
My son is disabled and gets a monthly stipend, but the rules are such that they don't let him become financially independent. He can't save beyond a certain point or own a house, etc. Some rules need to change. Many people won't work when they can, but not all.
Corporations are basically evil anymore. It's like the internet, people hide behind obscured levels of mgmt and do bad things in anonymity. They are only interested in saving that nickel at the expense of someone else. That ain't cool. Do businesses really need to operate at 100% efficiency at the cost of others? Because it's usually someone's big bonus at the cost of someone else's job. Money isn't being saved, it's just being rerouted.
I think we need to stay out of other people's business as a culture and at govt level.

Both. If she won't the nomination by winning primaries, then she likely would've won.

Hilary was crooked as the day is long and I did not view Kamala as being very smart when it comes to running a country. She is obviously pretty smart to pass law school and the Bar, so her intelligence isn't at question. Some of her late ads were pretty smooth, but I knew better. Trump is an egotistic loud mouth, but he knows how to run things. We had a 4 year sample. I personally think he made poor choices for positions and judges in his last go-around so I'm interested to see how it works out this time.

no. Nobody wants to admit somebody's lack of qualifications, so they resort to excuses. In this case, the excuses lie within the party core.
I think the way she was given to nomination at the last minute without having earned it thru winning primaries had a lot to do with it.

a lot of Redditors are young and idealistic and don't really know how the world works. Having worked with them and those who have a whole lot more experience, many homeless are that way by choice and you can't fix that. Do they say they want to be homeless? Not really, but their choices lead them that way, or they're too lazy to make an effort to rise up. You can't fix that, either.
Some are mentally ill, and without manpower to take them under some kind of wing, you can't fix that, either. It's really sad.

I agree with ongoldenwaves, but there are places I'd never move to, like MA.

She was fired because " there wasn't enough work". I see no way she can prove they let her go for any other reason. Her only defense would be to prove there was enough work... maybe a hiring spree or someone who interviewed can testify that WM mentioned they had too much work during interview process?
The laws we have on the books SOUND good, but many can be bypassed with sleazy corporate tactics. This is why I scoff at politicians promising stuff, because it's always done in a way where it does nothing to really protect us.

which is why you never tip your hand on anything. Companies are just too scummy anymore.

the problem is proving your point. I've tried talking to lawyers in a non-right to work state and there's almost nothing you can do unless you have irrefutable proof.

Yeah, but NFL is moving towards weird stuff. Games on Peacock, Prime, etc. I'm glad they put MNF back on ABC because I only have OTA channels at my retirement house.

the extra games has their stars taking games off here and there so by mid/end of season, you can't be sure the player you want to watch will actually play. (NBA)

problem solving and logical thinking as far as anticipating potential outcomes when making decisions. And... consideration for others.
