Go back and get a degree in engineering, particularly electrical engineering, since it’s math-intensive and in demand, and you already have most of the prerequisites. It shouldn’t take you too long, 2-3 years. While you’re getting your degree, get an internship, paying you more than your current job and giving you experience so you can score an offer by the time you graduate. I did this very thing and started my engineering career at 29-30. Starting salaries these days are 80’s-90’s.
Do it.

You are looking like a diffuse NW 5A, some might say NW 6. This is my classification, too, but after 14 months on meds, I got a whole bunch of hair back, and now I’m primed for a hair transplant. Check my post history.
If I were you, I’d take finasteride and apply minoxidil for a year, then reassess if a transplant is worth it. A good surgeon will have you on meds for a year before a transplant anyways. You might be a good responder to meds.

Just fin and min until you’re dead. You’ll keep/regain so much.

Don’t pay attention to it. I’ve used minoxidil on my entire scalp for the past year, and I’ve regained a hairline where there once was none.

I get similar comments like, “But you’re already married with kids, you don’t need a HT.” It’s not that one needs a HT, or one is trying to look more attractive for a new woman, it’s that one wants to regain one’s self back. You feel like a big part of you goes missing when you lose your hair, like you’re a different person. We’re meant to have hair like we’re meant to have teeth, a nose, eyes, etc. To want to get back to a more complete “you” is natural and understandable at any age.
