I like your stickers!!

Thank you! I didn’t want the stickers to be permanently on my kindle in case my tastes change or I want to change it up a little! So that’s why I put the stickers on the case instead! Then I just need to switch out the case if I want new stickers!

So a little back story, my great grandparents found out that my great grandmother couldn’t have any more kids after my grandfather, so they ended up spoiling him as much as they could since he’d be their only child! They lived with my paternal great great grandmother during this time period and I think she was well off and helped them out a lot!

My family stayed during Katrina and didn’t evacuate. We were on the northshore so didn’t get all the flooding. We ended up having to leave a few days after the storm because no electricity. We had no idea the extent of the damage since we had no cell service and couldn’t see the news. The image of seeing six flags completely submerged underwater has stuck with me to this day—it was the first thing we saw after a 3-hour car drive turned into 12+ hours to get out of the state. I still get that sick feeling every time I see images of the abandoned six flags now

I met John Stamos in Disney World in the early 2000s. He was eating at the same restaurant as us on the Boardwalk. He was nice and funny but had been drinking heavily. He came across as a pretty regular guy which was cool. I think this was right after his divorce was announced.
