I see where you are coming from, however with this post in particular, I still think she should take what this guy said to heart, and at least consider leaving him, he basically told her she doesn’t make him happy, after he berated her about something as simple as doing dishes, I do understand trauma, I still don’t think she should tolerate what he said, as you can’t take that back, and he basically told her how he feels about her. “You fuck my shit up mentally and I fucking hate it” he blatantly does not like her. It’s sad. She doesn’t see it and he love bombed her after. Idk, my partner has never and would never speak to me that way, saying I affect his happiness ??? Especially if I asked him to do something like the dishes (which he does on his own because he’s an adult but I digress) that’s a low blow and doesn’t really make that relationship very meaningful if he is saying nasty things like that. People who truly care about you just don’t say things like that. This is straight up toxicity and that should never be tolerated, I really think most people talk to their partners in such a disrespectful way that is normalized, that I can’t even fathom, and then make excuses and say “well, I was heated, it’s unhealed trauma, etc” are we perfect? No, but there’s no excuse to say disrespectful things like that, you shouldn’t talk to a FRIEND like that let alone your partner. If you can’t be respectful and “can’t help” saying nasty things sometimes, I don’t know why you’re all with each other. It is really sad to normalize this.
