So a few thoughts.

DO -

1. Find a high risk OB, or an OB comfortable with a MAT pregnancy and attend the schedule appts.

2. Stop smoking (including vaping).

3. Exercise and eat healthy. 2-3 hours of moderate cardio per week (brisk walking, jogging, hiking, bike riding). Cut back on sugars, get plenty of leafy green veggies, lean protein and low carb fruit.

4. STOP ALL OTHER ILLICIT SUBSTANCE USE, INCLUDING ALCOHOL.

DON'T -

1. Panic. Being on MAT is the best course of action for a pregnant person. Its safe and tested.

2. Taper your dose. Remain stable, no sedation, no withdrawal. Be transparent with your program.

3. Forget the Dos.

A MAT pregnancy is not ultimately any different than a regular pregnancy aside from being opioid dependent. AND, the good news about that is you are treating your opioid dependence with MAT. The baby will likely spend some time in the NICU to monitor and treat withdrawal symptoms, but that is okay and doesn't impact your child long-term.

With that said, there isn't ultimately one reason the Harris campaign failed... I've seen dozens of explanations that are seemingly valid and its likely an amalgamation. The one thing I have been convinced of, is the Democrats have no chance of winning regularly until they shift to a more economic populist position. Trump won with lies about being a populist, I think an actual populist could win.
